I refuse to categorize the entirety of the bank due to my bad experiences. Nevertheless I have been to this branch several times, never have I had a good experience at this location. I have been met with abrasive and aggressive tones, rude gestures, indirect sly comments, employees who are inconsiderate and careless in respect to their clients, and a lack of common respect and decency. If you plan on coming here, I would suggest otherwise, or bring with you a significant degree of tolerance for disrespect. I would like to give the benefit of the doubt and assume not everyone in this bank is the same. With that being said, everyone I’ve interacted has been this way. I wish everyone at this bank the best, but I’d recommend if you’re looking for a bank or cibc branch, go elsewhere. Try the cibc branch at Northland, those people are great!
Horrible, horrible place if you just need a quick service. Sat for 40 minutes because they have a dozen clients and only one person working. It's pathetic, happens nearly every time I just need a simple bank draft.
In response the previous review: It exists. But there are no tellers or banking counters anymore. Tablets, atms and a laptops are in their place. It's a fairly relaxing space. Sad to say the online banking appointment I made with Shazia Ali was a no show. When I arrived, there were 3 other people working. They were very nice and pleasant but busy with other customers. I had to wait a bit and I could tell they didnt expect me. I ended up with Lily. I think I lucked out and got a better service than I would have anyway. Lily was professional, quick thinking, pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. She confirmed they still issue bank drafts and money orders and do basically everything in this location. Just no cash transactions. I think that sounds fair. I know how to use the ATMs.
If I could give zero stars I would, im with simplii financial a subsidiary of the company, I have waited over 8 days for my work cheque to clear, countless hours over the phone. And yet again I've been passed along again to another department. DO NOT EVER BANK WITH THESE CROOKS. THEY WILL HOLD YOUR MONEY FOR WEEKS ON END AND DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. DISGRACE OF A BANK.
The person named Steve at the teller was so rude. Doesn't even listen to my complaint first but insisted what he is saying. I cannot believe this person can work at the bank without any customer service showed to his customer. He told me, do you understand English? Ofcourse, I can understand English because i finished a degree. How can you understand me if you don't listen to me first. You just keep on talking. You shouldn't work at the bank.
