CIBC Branch & ATM

I was at one of the CIBC branch (1530 albion rd )today to get my joint bank statment with my wife which should show our address also (immigration purposes) . I have experianced the worst customer service and asnwers ever in my life. The lady who i was talking to told me that my account ( Randeep's ) was never a joint account but the funny part is debit card we used foe identification was my wife's card. They toldme that there is no letter which can state our address also. I was very dissappointed so i went out and called one of cibc customer service numbers. The guy who i was talking to helped me by understanding my situation and told me to hand over his call to one of employee's to get some information. I reached another lady at front desk to hand-over the call but she refused and started behaving very rudely. All he wanted was branch's transit number , so he can send them information about my letter over email. He told me to wait 10 minutes and then visit the branch to collect my letter . I went there after some time and I was greeted by same lady and she was in no mood of helping today . She told me there is no information recieved andthere is no branch email . There are individual email's of staff and she don'y have enough time to ask all of them . I was very angry but i behaved normally and left the branch. I , then , visited my home branch at queens plate and requested them to close all my accounts with CIBC . They were very surprised and asked me for reason . After taking all information they helped me by requesting the letter and one lady insited me not to close my account and stay with CIBC .She tried her best ( Naznin Khandakar ). My requested letter will take 5 business day from today which is totally fine .I just want CIBC to reach that lady ( TAMARA ) and the girl at front desk of albion branch . Its very dissapointing to see such a big bank hiring such unprofessional employee's. I believe they treat everyone like they treated me and i think CIBC should be worried about these people other than me . I faced one bad day and your company will face many due to them.

I have never experienced such high disregard for human decency. Waited two hours for an issue that could be resolved in three mins. The advisor I was suppose to see walked by me FIVE times and still no assistance. Was eventually forced to leeave. Literally ripped my card and threw it in the trash. Its was so painful I had to laugh. Congrats, you've hit a new low in service.

Avoid this branch. Poor customer serivce, tellers are always speaking foreign languge, slow service, they welcome you but no help.

The staff at the counters are amazing but when you want to meet the advisers you need to go through the rudest, most annoying person ever. She says no before you even get a word out, raises her voice like no ones business. Don't ask us to book appointments for later days , people can't just take days off when they want to.

Cant give less than one star but have no choice Fat employess here walk around doing nothing when bank is busy this is third time its happened. No team work the tellers are working their ass of and other people are just chilling walking around rather than helping them.
