Excellent accommodations in a very unique setting. Like stepping back in time. So nice to stay in a place where you feel like it's home. Kelly was very friendly and catered to our needs. Dinner was excellent, prime rib and pan fried blue fish, and the best broccoli ever. Great service. Will definitely go back if we're in the area.

We went to the Kentucky Derby party at Chamberlin's bar. There were probably 40 people crammed into the bar area (!), but had we wanted dinner too there were plenty of empty tables. The mint juleps were not good (way too much club soda); but we didn't care because we had a blast! I've also eaten dinner there before, and the food is wonderful. It's expensive, but a great experience.

Kelly and Bud welcome you like family. It's cozy, clean, good food, nice little bar, wonderful fireplace, and frequent live music. It's unpretentious and the perfect northern Michigan place to settle in. Highly recommended. The mussels with a glass of wine or beer, the fire and guitar make for a perfect evening!!

Historic and relaxing setting on a bluff overlooking Big Manistique Lake. Great food and cleanly rooms. Bud and Kelly are swell hosts too!

Well,...when you grandfather owns the place, you do get a little bit of treatment, but the food, I've watched them make it. The ribs, are to die for, and the owner, my grandfather, bud chamberlin is like a local star I guess, he is super friendly to everyone, and can be a great bartender. They have live bands on weeknights, and the staff always has a smile. The chicken tenders, are actual chicken, which is rolled in egg, then in a type of flour and deep fried. The fish, is right from the lake. Its great for snowmobiling in the winter and good in the summer for swimming and to go out on the lake. They do weddings and I believe cater. They atmozphere is always welcoming, and the warm fire is always nice on the winter. The rooms are not like modern day rooms. They are antique, most do have televisions, and the beds are comfortable. You can go for a drink at the bar or just go to have a full meal.
