Lake View Hotel

Great experience. Room was a little small, but that was the only issue. Very clean room, professional staff, extremely convenient location. Wonderful breakfast buffet, and the restaurant in the hotel is great and convenient. My wife and I were afraid that it would be noisy since it's right on the main road - but that wasn't an issue at all. Highly recommend it.

Nice place with a pricey restaurant attached. Walls are paper thin however and the pool, quite some distance away was clearly audible and the ice machine across the hall and down a few doors sounded like it was nestled in bed with me. A fan or noise blocker is highly recommended.

We stayed at the Lake view while visiting mackinaw on a bus tour package. I loved the room , very large and comfortable beds. Was on the side street, so could hear the clippity -clop of the horses going by. Pool and hot tub were great and not over crowded as this was the middle of October. Continental breakfast was average, but enough offered to fill us up. Lovely front porch complete with rockers to watch the people and horses. Great location, right on the main street. Would definitely stay here again.

The employees of this hotel are great and I give them a 5. The hotel manager James Johnson is very disrespectful and needs to take a class in customer service. I left my suitcase in their possession after checking out for a few hours. When I returned to get my bags, one of the bags had been opened and my $150 Bluetooth headset was missing. When I asked him to check the cameras, he blamed me and assumed no liability or responsibility for what took place. WHAT HAPPENED TO LISTENING TO THE CUSTOMER? Instead of even listening to me he comes out of the back room yapping away before I could even introduce myself. The owners of this property should be embarrassed to have this man representing them. I would appreciate a professional response to this since I didn't get one when I was there!

It was very exquisite... Would reccomend it for someone who admires amenities involving middle class quality... Not as expensive as the Grand... But very nice
