Canadian Tire stores always have an amazing variety of products. It's important to always shop when they're on special or buy things when they're on special because the special price is always vastly lower then the regular price. The store is no different it has a good selection of products good specials well laid out clean. Some of the staff is good some of the staff is a little on edge and that could be a day-to-day thing. Generally a very very good store highly recommended.

Frankly I was not comfortable with the person that was working the garage section of the store. He is the one that is standing at the counter and is typically the person to whom you would book in a spot to change the oil. Making a customer sign a contract and telling to not worry about the details is a fraudulent act and neverthless a disgusting one. I have initially asked for a service that I thought would be part of the oil change, however, I was then told that it would cost an extra $85, thus I simply declined the offer. Then I was told that they would only charge if the repair would be done and if only I agree to them repairing it. Honeslty, that was a good deal and I said yes, but the canadian tire employee failled to mention that if I were to refuse the repair that I would be charged $30. Hiding such details is the best way in losing the trust of the customer, and after discussing the issue with the canadian tire employee, I decided to not repair the car and only have the oil changed. I paid the $30 that they have failled to mention and I paid the oil change as well. I didn't find the need to argue over $30 and make a big deal out of it. Nevertheless, I won't be taking my car there and I won't recommend this place to anyone that I personally know. I value honesty and I can surely say that Canadian Tire lacks it.

I've been saying this since 1985...avoid Canadian Tire stores and this one was just a reminder of how bad their aftersale service is. Back in 1985...friend bought a car battery that was cracked. Put it in his trunk, leaked acid. Never even backed out of parking space. Store refused to change it because they claimed my friend dropped it. Even with me as a witness, still refused. Fast forward to 2 days ago, at this specific store. Bought a car battery booster pack recommended by the store staff as the one I wanted was out of stock...so bought more expensive one. The box was slightly damaged so the employee checked it, said not to worry, if anything, I could bring it back for a refund or exchange. Tried charging it...no good. Would not charge. Brought back to the store, and because I had plugged it in the wall socket, refused to take it back. Said it was "used". Besides that, they had no other battery packs left...none at all. Had to argue and beg to get a store card good for a year. Worst policy ever. They will find any reasons not to take things back, as i witnessed from the people ahead of me. One person out of 5 had no issues. Avoid the headaches, if you can find it at Wal-Mart, go there.

I went to buy a heater and they were out of heaters. I saw one in the back counter section and I asked for it. It had little over plastering on the outside. I took it home and it was miserably packed inside without any cardboards, crumpled manual and was clearly used. I didn’t have the time to go back immediately and went their to return the next week. One of the employee (Olivier) who claim to be the manager was very rude and refused to refund. I called the customer service number and the agent spoke with another acting manager Christine or Kristine and told me to speak to her. I went to her and introduced myself, she just walked away murmuring something bad. After few minutes Olivier very aggressively made the refund, suggesting not commit this mistake again whereas other associate were laughing, one was wrapping the product to place on the shelf to fool and insult another customer.

Very bad service especially after sale, staff is not experienced and rude. The management are not qualified, I really wonder how a good reputation name like Canadian Tire hire them !!!!!!!. I don't recommend this store.
