The Home Depot

I had an exceptional experience at the Beaubien West location yesterday around noon. I wanted to purchase a pest control product for one of my bonsai plants. The only Home Depot outlet anywhere near my home that had what I wanted in stock was this one. The website indicated there were 12 units in stock.nnThe store is quite a long journey for me by public transit since I do not maintain a daily driver car. I couldn't find the product on display, so I was a bit disappointed after such a long trip.nnI asked a store employee, Apparently the item I wanted was summer stock that had been packed badly as it turned out into a huge skid and stored very high up.nnThe staff were undaunted by this and several of them spent about a half hour retrieving the skid, unpacking it and finding what I was looking for. It was a challenging endeavour because the skid was unbalanced and poorly packed and threatened to break apart as it was brought gently down. The attached photo shows how difficult the operation was.nnI don't think I have ever experienced better customer service anywhere. Everyone acted very professionally and cheerfully, and they are definitely a credit to the store where they work. They were even a bit apologetic that it took as long as it did to get the item for me.

We have been getting great experience every time we visit Home Depot from Samia. The service, courtesy with a smile makes a great difference. Top customer service.

I just wanted to outweigh the bad reviews about dishwashers not being installed. I’m in shock to bump into all those 1 star reviews. We also bought a dishwasher at the HD in Parker but they did installed it. Yes, it takes some days from the moment of purchase in person at the store until delivery… like over a week or two. It was fine since the salesman set us up to expect that time frame. The delivery included installation and it’s been like 10 months of that, our LG is working fine.

What the heck Home Depot? Is this what you consider a quality service when delivering a 18cu3 fridge ? A shipment delivered one week sooner than what was planned, let alone on the doorstep, leaned over, no phone call. What should I do now ? Wait until I can get access to the property and magically move it inside ??

If I could give 0 stars I would.nThere is no cashiers.nBe prepared to wait. The customer is doing all the work.nnCompanies should be providing jobs to young workers not taking advantage of technology just so the CEO can buy another Porsche.nnCompanies like this are taking part in the financial ruin of the next generations.nnTLDR: Poor service, customer does the work, horrible company practices.
