Canadian Tire

Very compact and the items seem to be stored even higher than usual. The store was more compact than your typical Canadian tire. The carts are smaller and the aisles are narrow. I showed up with a list of what I found online and an employee helped me quickly locate everything I needed. Absolutely terrible customer service. Did not honor price error. I came first thing in the morning and the entire Christmas section was well organized. Christmas rabbit was priced $39.99 and at the cash counter scanned at $69.99. The guy at aisle was blaming maybe a customer moved it, it was just after the store opened and everything was well placed, same with the cashier. This location just blames customers as opposed to taking responsibility for store error, this is not the first time it’s happened, so I finally decided it’s time to write a review, The cashier Alexandrie was just down right rude and explained Quebec policy pricing, she just disregarded me, didn’t want to hear anything. This location has terrible customer support, it’s in my neighborhood and I detest coming here, Marché Central way better management and staff. This location should be permanently closed since they can’t find good workers to run it.

This place is on a whole other level when it comes to making you feel unwelcome and like a criminal. Signs, Gates and cameras everywhere. I used my own shopping bag to pick stuff up that I emptied at the cash register and was given a world of hell for that. Who the hell do you people think you are treating clients like that. I will not be going back.

If you want to get treated like a criminal, this is the place to go. First sign, huge letters, before entering the store, “YOU ARE UNDER SURVEILLANCE”. Second sign, “WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEARCH YOUR BAG AT ANY TIME”. And this is before even entering the store.nThe moment you enter the store you will be told to hand over your bag/backpack. Not asked, told.nnPersonally I wouldn’t dream of stealing anything from anyone, and I get really insulted being treated like a criminal.nnThis is a store I will never revisit. And as other reviews have mentioned, it’s really tight and hard to manoeuvre in. Choose a different Canadian Tire if you can.

As I was paying for my items at the cash register, the security guard walks up to us and tells the cashier that one item was not scanned, although it was...Why is the security guard watching us and trying to do the cashiers job? As if I would try to steal a ornament worth less than 2 dollars
