A survival mission with one real hero.nnI came to this store to replace a few tools — simple, right? Well, I’ve never seen a shop more structurally confusing and bureaucratic than this one.nnFirst, you get stopped at the door, your bag is taken. Then, to simply talk to the cashier, you have to stand in a long line. Then when you need to go back — boom, another full loop. I spent over 30 minutes just trying to exchange a few pliers and screwdrivers.nnThe second girl who replaced her — no offense — clearly had no idea what she was doing. Even after Lucas the hero of this story confirmed that the tools were eligible for replacement, she kept calling random people, delaying the process even more, and even tried to argue about not giving me parts of the screwdriver that literally make it functional.nnLucas, on the other hand, was patient, knowledgeable, and the only reason I didn’t walk out empty-handed. Without him, I wouldn’t have gotten what I came for. I seriously hope he becomes the manager or even the owner one day — this store would be a thousand times better if it had ten Lucases.nnnnBottom line: I came to replace a couple of screwdrivers and pliers, and left with a headache. Massive thanks to Lucas for saving the day — but one Lucas can’t carry a whole store on his back.

excellent experience last Sunday. there were lots of employees available and very helpful. the aisles are too narrow but otherwise very good.

This store has been structured so that everyone is treated as a possible thief.nnWhen you enter, the security guard tells you to give them your bag. What's even worse is when you leave, you must wait in line behind a barrier until an employee buzzes you past. If you're leaving the store without buying anything you still need to wait in line, and can't leave until the employee opens the barrier.nnIts rare of me to have an opinion about a hardware store, but this one feels like a prison.

Unpleasant to be in. Packed to the point that you can't pass a person in an aisle. Impossible to get at things or browse. Weird entry and security. Stand at a little gate and get buzzed over to cash, like cattle.nGood job filling the store with objects to the point that no one wants to be in there looking at them.

one of the worst canadian tires i’ve visited.nnits not the size or the products that impacted my review but the staff.nnits very small and compact.nalleys can handle only one person one way.nnand the staff.nnthey are :n1- not well trained : they have no idea how the system works for a return.n2- the store manager was very reculant to refund even if items were unopened and within all return conditionsn3- staff prioritized other clients over me? what??nnIn sum. i’ll never step my feet in this particular branch of CT. Hopefully someone else has a better experience than me next time!
