Canadian Tire

Made the appointment 5 days before and when I arrived they can't find my name. Eventually they squeezed me in but 2hours late but no apologies even questioned me if I really made the appointment after I showed my call history. Then I dropped the key and I mentioned to use my own synthetic oil that I put in the back seat and i mentioned twice making sure they put it in the note. Then again I called after an hour to remind use my own oil. When I picked up my car, guess what, yes, they still used their conventional oil. My two jugs were sitting unopened in the back seat. I had to go back and wait there till they drained my oil and redo everything. And no sorry during this whole mess up. I would give minus points if I can. Only came here because I had this free coupon for oil change when I signup for the road assistant. Well, people online is right, never trust these people and if you care about your car don't send it here. Would not recommend to anyone. Very disappointed!!!!

This place embodies dysfunctional customer service, the reviews mirror the experience. On a recent trip, I was declined a return since it was not purchased at "their" store. The store cannot accept another franchisee's goods so I will have to return it to the Barrie location I picked it up at. 26 days after purchase when the policy states 90- not even a store credit offered? What is the point of the Canadian Tire branding then? I will NOT shop at this location, it reeks of bad culture and carelessness. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Good supply of product. However, the customer service desk is not operated well at all. One service rep at the computer, one manager, and a big line. On one occasion 5 employees standing by the desk doing nothing while 7 customers in line.

Worst customer service ever. Spent more than half an hour trying to get hold of anyone from the automotive department. They are either not answering the phone or they let you hold for a very long time without answering at the end or put you on hold. They can’t answer A simple question. Tried calling 5 branches! This is sad and depressing! They don’t deserve a one star even.

This Canadian tire is convenient in that it is in a central location, but is very slow in processing customers. Often times there is only one cashier on the weekends which to me seems understaffed. In addition the return line is usually very long and you should expect a 10 minute wait to be served. The products they offer are good, but often times I find the same thing at Costco or Home Depot for the same price or cheaper. I come here on occasion when they have a big sale, but I don’t shop where frequently because the customer experience isn’t the best.
