Sadly this location is closing!! The products were marked 20-40% off when we went. Many products have been picked up already but if you have the time and patience to check it out then you still might find some good deals. We did. It was very understaffed but given the circumstances it's understandable. Visit the store for their Closing Sale maybe deeper discounts to come or to just reminiscence.

I loved shopping here and it been around for decades. So much variety and since they belong to Hudson Bay store, collecting hbc points was an added bonus. Unfortunately they are closing down and they have put out their CLOSING OUT SALE. So sad to see them go but grab your items at a marked down cost before everything is gone.

The quality of stuff here is really not the usual one. You can find some really unique items here, just dig deep. I bought a table runner and something as little as that always have people asking me "where did you get this from?". I also purchased an area rug for a very good price and I love it!

What a level of customer service. I called in and ask for a specific product. The store said yes, when I drove down there, they said oh we don’t have in box, we have a display model. I asked them can I get additional discounts since I drove far from here, they simply said no. When I asked for a manager on duty, the rep said even the manager will not give me any additional discounts. Still I insisted to talk to the MOD, he walked in and said I gave all my employees empowerment to decide and they are right. When I feel disappointed and neglected, I asked them first of all a sincere apology could have stopped me dragging far. Then the MOD said ok what do u want an apology or discounts? How rude. This idiot should learn how to talk to customers . No wonder their stores are closing down, because of the bad choice of employees. Train them properly.

Poor delivery ordering process and system. It took 2 hours to place an order for delivery of a bed. Problems with inventory and pricing and sales discounts causing confusion between the order desk and cashier. Compared to Sears it took less than 20 minutes. Go to Sears to save time. Discount is not worth it.

Great place to shop for the home. They occasionally have great saving too. We e got alot of our stuff here. Price is slightly lower than other similar place

I went to the Markham location of Home Outfitters this morning after looking at a advertisement for sheets. I saw the add on line, asked me for the location of the store I wanted to go to and showed me the product I wished to purchase. At the store I could not find the product. After asking for help I was told the Markam location was not carrying this product and will probably not get promoted items in the future as HBC was closing this location. I was directed to the Yorkdale or Islington stores. I live in Markham!!!!!! Fern Krugel Thornhill

They are closing soon. I got a oven mitts for $2 the pair originally $25 the pair. They have a lot on discount at the moment.

There is a vast selection of everyday household products at reasonable prices and they have good sales. The service is friendly and helpful. $$

Found some good deals on end of season merchandise. Store was VERY quiet.
