Canadian Tire

Obviously the manager of this store has never watched Mythbusters. The way they changed the checkout line to just one line and then having to watch for an open till is the worst possible way to do things. It makes customers mad and is very slow. They need to change back to the way it was if he knew what was good for the store. Also the Isles are way to close together and you can't get two people with carts or baskets down them. They need to space them apart a little bit further to make the customer service experience better and easier. Also, this store has so much stuff under lock and key it is ridiculous. You should just have everything under lock and key and have an employee walk around with every customer it's so bad. And if you can actually get someone to open up the cage they have to take it to the front and then you have to figure out which till they put it at. Get rid of the stupid cages!!!!! I would not recommend going to this store unless you have to. Go to the one in West Edmonton as it is a much better store by far

Service guys we super friendly and helpful. Could hardly believe their amazing energy! It was great to see. Too bad the battery I came for was out though I imagine they sold a lot with thus -30 below temps

Been introduced to the store Manager Dan. I’m still dealing with a poor service experience from the automotive shop, I received no repairs and more damage to my vehicle, then when it arrived, they charged me for the work they didn’t do, other than telling me it’s still having issues. Took the vehicle to the dealership across the road and they showed me all the damaged wires that were caused by the tech testing the wires prior, plus a splicing of wires that were wired backward from the repairs canadian tire tech did. The dealership showed me all the damaged and corroded wires that Canadian tire should have caught and informed me off but they didn’t nor did they mention anything about it. I’m here telling you that Canadian tire automotive shop likes to lead you blind and think that their doing what’s best for the customer. Well this showed me that wasn’t the case in this situation and that because of the poor workmanship and the manager not having a clue, they left me stranded and with a bill far more greater than what it had to be, Thanks Dan the manager for informing me that your tech did his best work, you sure showed me your true colours. Snake in the grass folks. Will never bring or request anyone to go here and trust them with your vehicle.

They have everything I need. Plus you can look up what you want online and it will tell you what isle it's at and how many there are... Great for quick visits.

My experience mirrors many of the other reviews here. Just bad manners and grouchiness with the staff cashiers. If a customer warmly greets you at least greet them back. And please - don't try and stuff an entire basket of items into one plastic bag! Unreal. PS I've had a much better experience at the Can West location in Edmonton. ( At least in the automotive dept. ). I won't be returning this location with such ill mannered employees.
