Third negative experience with auto service department. So time to share to caution others and they don’t experience the same. This 3rd time I purchased 4 tires because their website could get them here the quickest. Arrival was a couple days after order, made an appt to install, had to change appt as tires didn’t arrive I had to call to confirm & change it. Got email a week later they arrived. Booked in for 8am, received a call at 10am “only 3 of 4 arrived, we ordered another and will call when done this afternoon”…..next day…..still no call. I called on day 2 of no call…”not done still need to do alignment, we’ll call you when done”….day 3 no call….I call at end of day 4 “we are very sorry it’s ready for pickup”. Day 5- Upon arrival to pick up, won’t release car as there’s a 4 digit code to prove you bought the tires in an email. No email. “Email was received by you Sept 17”. So you can see the email on Canadian tire end??? Today is Sept 30. Email/ code found on very bottom of “congratulations on your tire purchase confirm”, but they wouldn’t share where to find so that I wasn’t stealing the tires! Really?!?!nSpare donut tires was to be reinstalled. They said the did, upon arrival at my car, NO donut was in back of car. Back inside, it is now an hour of time there on Sept 30 they argue “it is on I did it myself!” Bring two employees out to the car, they complain and try to justify themselves the whole way to my car, show them the spare in the back, “that’s where it goes”. They say and try to lift my small truck area which is a very small storage area. My grade 11 son goes under the car to show them where the tire goes. They return into store, no apologies and no offer to complete the job. I demanded an 8am call from store manager. No call May 1….waiting on May 2….,nUpon arriving home, noticed my tire rims are completed destroyed and several lug nuts were still loose. Very dangerous!!
I am in the middle of moving and got a flat last night but nothing was open so boyfriend put the spare on and this morning I went and picked up a set of tires and went to Canadian Tire to get them put on — only to find out one of the tires was messed up. So the whole service department from the lovely ladies up front to the technicians in the garage to the manager himself have been so accommodating and helpful. My vehicle has been here most the day as have I arranging another set of tires. The service manager is even having one of the guys take a look at the new tires before I purchase them to make sure they are in good condition. Feeling very grateful for all these great people and the amazing customer service provided today.
Horrible auto customer service. I went up, asked about what coolant is best, or better than standard. The staff member told me to go to the aisle, where they are located. Did not answer my question, did not help me find what I am looking for.nnYou can also see from other replies from canadian tire, they dont care, with there generic bot response.
The moment I walked in I was greeted with a kind smile. The customer service is fantastic here. I had a few different areas that I needed assistance with. Each department was extremely helpful. I have been to plenty of stores, but this location went above and beyond!
Horrible experience. Decided to give CT a try since we usually use Home Depot - had 6 of an item in stock at online on clearance. Spent 20 minutes waiting for someone to try and find them, only to be told they’re nowhere to be found but we can get a rain check. I get to customer service and they can’t give me a rain check because they have 6 in stock - they recommend we drive to SOUTH EDMONTON as they have 4 in stock supposedly. Were told they’d have more coming on the 23rd but they couldn’t offer a rain check as it’s clearance. Avoid this Canadian Tire and head to Home Depot - at least you’ll get decent customer service there.
