Absolute joke of a tire shop.nnI left my vehicle with them for a simple tire patch job leaving my seat in a specific way that would need to be adjusted if you wanted to drive it. I came back 24 hours later to my vehicle parked in the same spot and manner I had left it, the seat was in the same position, and a hefty 1500$ quote for all new tires. This was justified by man-splaining to a car guy that the brand new tires I have on my vehicle seemingly have no tread left, something the mechanics would have had to get on their knees to check or take the vehicle inside the shop. Neither of which were done, clearly, as I have my tread depth reader on the inside edge of both tires reading fine. Lazy.nnThe mechanical staff is lazy and clearly incompetent, the front desk people do not know anything about vehicles while also offering the most attitude you could possibly get from angry weekend department store workers.nnThe place needs to absolutely do better. The teenage mechanics and elderly management is such a perfect storm for this being the worst possible mechanic shop you could take a vehicle to, even for something as simple as a patch job.

Love this store, well laid out, so much selection, not just a hardware store or an auto parts store but everything you need for a Home to be completed indoors and out. Very helpful and friendly staff who care about what they do, ask anyone on staff and they will drop what they're doing and make sure you get what you need. Cheap replacement or high end they have it, and more, plus the deals are ever-changing and meaningful not just 5% here or 10% there but 30 to 50% in a lot of cases. Plus Party City is in the store as well.

Very disgusting after sales customer service - automotive. I asked them to change the tire and they saw something that needed to be fixed. The front wheel ball joint. After they changed the tire and the ball joint all the lights went on. This is not even 24 hours after I got my car from this crooks. I brought it back to them and they want me to pay $379 for diagnostics. Take note this happened after they change my tire and ball joint. The manager is so disgusting and does not want to own their responsibility. So immature, the Manager Peter even hand gesture bye bye to me. The mechanics here are incompetent as they dont know what they are doing. Do not go to Canadian Tire for your automotive services if you dont want this to happen to you. My first and last service of my car here in Canadian Tire St. Albert.

Brought in a product to be refunded because of a recall, the cashier made me feel like I was doing something wrong because she didn't know what to do, she even said that she didn't know what to do. She brought up the recall issue with the manager on duty and they didn't know the proper procedure either and told me that I needed a receipt. Neither of them consulted the recall product binder that I know every store has and I had to take it elsewhere, which inconvenienced me but not before they tried to make me look foolish in front of the people waiting in line behind me. UNACCEPTABLE!! For Shame!

Lots of people behind the auto parts counter but no one would acknowledge someone was there. Just left. Employees looked miserable.nnCanadian tire auto responded with a message about wanting to understand and gave me a phone number to call. It was their general information number where I could leave a message.
