I called the auto parts section and spoke with a Filipino guy who could not speak proper English. I repeated and even spelled the part name 4–5 times, but he still didn’t understand. He was not willing to help, just tried to ignore me and escape, and finally said “we don’t have it” without even checking. Very poor service — Canadian Tire should hire people who can actually understand and assist customers.

I had an unexpectedly great experience at Canadian Tire thanks to Rajan.nIt was Family Day, my mechanic and the dealership service department were closed, and my Audi Q5 showed a very low engine oil warning. I was quite stressed because I wasn’t sure what oil I needed.nRajan went far beyond what I would normally expect. He carefully checked the manual, came out to the parking lot with me, looked at the vehicle information directly in the car, and made sure we selected the correct oil. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help.nThis level of service is truly rare nowadays. It was not just customer service — it was real care and professionalism.nThank you, Rajan. Canadian Tire is lucky to have you.

Absolutely unprofessional staff, especially during the payment process. I experienced an issue at the self-checkout and asked an employee who was specifically stationed there to assist customers. She was sitting on her chair and did not come over to help resolve the error on the machine.nnEven after asking three times and starting the conversation with a friendly greeting, she did not respond at all. Staff like this should receive proper training before working with customers or be replaced with more suitable employees.

I had one of the best customer service experiences in quite a while today. My first time at this location and my interactions with multiple employees were all so positive. I had accidentally come before the flyer started but they offered to honour the price early. One person offered me a cart when my hands were full while another gentleman offered to take my hand basket and put it back. Great service all around!

We made an attempt to exchange a product that was purchased online and was quite large patio set because it was missing the mounting kit upon delivery. When we loaded it up to return to the location closest to us that had two in stock as per online and phoning to confirm it was in stock the manager would not return it and forced us to take back to harvest hills - despite this being an online purchase and us wanting to do a straight exchange. He was incredibly rude and dismissive. We asked for the best number to reach harvest hills so we wouldn’t drive all the way north only to find out the item we need wasn’t actually in stock - and he said “look it up on your phone”. He was awful to work with and truly provided some of the worst customer service I’ve had in a very long time. Absolutely will not be going back to this location.
