Canadian Children's Museum

We visited the Children’s Museum for the first time on a weekday with our toddler. I read great things about it beforehand and was not disappointed.nnIt’s a vibrant, colourful, and magical place for kids to explore different cultures. It’s like one giant make-believe place where kids transform into chefs, captains, dressmakers, and more. They can go fishing, conduct a mummy excavation in the sand, attend a tea ceremony, drive a Middle Eastern-inspired bus to Tokyo, and get groceries at a French bakery. There is so much to explore and do that my son was mind-boggled towards the end. It’s really a great place for textile learning and play for younger children in particular. Even we as parents enjoyed exploring all the different cultural areas.nnIt’s also nice that they have a dedicated space for families to take a break and eat lunch or a snack.nnWe arrived around 10 a.m. and by the time we left around noon the place was packed with kids of all ages, including from classes on school trips. It definitely got busy and overwhelming so I would recommend arriving earlier for the best experience.nnThe other downside is that it’s fairly pricey if you’re not also planning on attending the museum of history.nnI would certainly return and recommend to all families with younger kids!

Worth the adult admission price! My almost two-year-old thoroughly enjoyed the children’s museum! There is so much to do and explore here—lots of fun for kids of all ages! All the exhibits are interactive and well thought out, from the different vehicles around the world, the pizza kitchen, the market, digging for treasure in the sand, and learning to get items to market from the ships! We were there for two hours and still had not explored every exhibit! There is also a “factory” where you can eat your packed lunch/snacks, and there is a washroom located in the children’s museum as well, so there is no need to leave until you’re done having fun! They’ve really thought of everything to make the visit as fun and stress-free as possible! Highly recommend!

Annual pass is win win for kids and play year around. Kids museum and movie session is great. only thing is parking needs to be paid everytime and good thing is you will receive diacount for annual pass.

We visited the Canadian Children’s Museum today and it was a great experience for our family. My child had a lot of fun exploring the different play areas, especially the market, the boats, and the pretend travel stations. The museum is very interactive and perfect for young kids who like to touch and explore everything.

It remains one of the most welcoming and meaningful places for families in the region—a place where memories are made, and where the spirit of exploration never fades.
