Camco Acura

My last few experiences with this dealership have unfortunately been lack lustre, and a huge departure from years back. I’ve been an Acura driver and client at Camco since roughly 2016, always taking my cars in for servicing.nnWhat used to be seamless service experiences have slowly dissolved into frustrating appointments that don’t match what you’d expect from a luxury brand.nnThe cherry on top was today’s appointment, where I was told I needed some additional sub-minder services, which I said was not possible as I had them done roughly 2-3 months back at Sherway Acura in Toronto. I ended up having the man checking me into my appointment - for some reason in an office vs the counters, which has always been the case - looking into my service file history to confirm. While I’m sure it was simply a case of not looking into the client file before check in, it’s not how you’d expect a check in to transpire, and had I not been up to speed on services done to the car may have ended up paying substantially more for already performed services which were not showing up on my car as reminders, as a note.nnThe new policy about passing a 2.4% credit card fees onto customers without any pre-appointment communication just adds to the building frustration and disappointment of experiences over the last two or so years. Credit card fees are a part of doing business, and policy changes like this would benefit from some communication beyond printed papers at the time of arrival for scheduled servicing - could have been an email blast, disclosed when booking online, in reminder texts.. anything to allow customers to digest the information and plan ahead.nnAdditionally, having been to the Sherway location for my last few services, they automatically offer paid uber services to and from the appointment, at your leisure, and twice I’ve been handed a loaner vehicle for the day without pre booking. Those extras go a long way when paying dealership pricing for services.nnWill thankfully be moving from the city, and look forward to bringing my business to a different dealership.

Unfortunately, my experience at this dealership was quite underwhelming. I purchased a pre-owned/used Acura and was assured it would be detailed to showroom condition. Sadly, the cars appearance left much to be desired; I have attached pictures of what Camco Acura considers to be ‘showroom condition’. My spouse actually noticed a pasta shell that was beside the driver's seat, but it was hard to take a quality picture of it.nnAdditionally, when I went to pick up the car on the promised date, I was informed that the car would not be ready due to a small electrical/mechanical issue. Had they reached out earlier when they were aware that the car would not be set for delivery, it would have saved me both time and money. Camco Acura did at least private a shuttle service for drop-off and pick-up on the new delivery date.

Buying my first car Acura RDX 2025 at Camco Acura was such a memorable and positive experience, thanks to both Luna and Joseph! From the moment I walked in, Luna was incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and ready to help. As a first-time buyer, I had so many questions, and she patiently answered every one, making sure I felt confident in my decision.nnThe General Manager, Joseph, was also absolutely amazing. He took the time to guide me through the process, answer all my questions, and make the entire experience smooth and stress-free. His professionalism and friendly approach truly stood out.nnEven 8 months after my purchase, whenever I visit, Luna still greets me warmly and is always there to help. I enjoyed everything about their service! It was the best first car-buying experience I could have imagined, and I wouldn’t have done it any other way. Thank you, Luna and Joseph!

I bought my car from this dealership in 2022, and even years later they continue to go above and beyond. When I originally lived in Quebec, the front license plate bracket was removed, as I didn’t need it. After moving back to Ontario, I couldn’t find a compatible bracket anywhere. I reached out to the dealership, and without hesitation they told me to come in and they’d take care of it.nJoe and Braden handled everything seamlessly and at no cost. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help truly stood out. Once again, I was reminded why this dealership is exceptional - I’ve never felt more valued as a customer.
