Dinner set are not bad, fried soft shell crab and dipping sauce is yummy. Only disappointment was the fried chicken skin, they're pretty crispy, just some of them didn't taste fresh.
Ordered 2 Diced beef Japanese curry rice for lunch. Shocked when I opened it back home. The portion size is NOT acceptable, let alone the appeal is just AWFUL. Each order only contain a few small pieces of beef and minimal curry sauce. Lesson learned, never order food from a Cafe or a Cafe Alice.
What a hidden gem, wish I knew about this place sooner. The food was great, the cafe latte was excellent, service was friendly, and wonderful atmosphere. You are missing out if you haven’t tried it.
The entrance is hidden and difficult to find. You’ll have to come in from the underground parking. Once you entered the cafe, staff greeted us and asked us to write down our contact as part of the COVID measures. Some of the furniture is a bit dated but still clean and neat. They have changed their menu recently so some of the photos we saw on Yelp are not available. We ended up ordering the popcorn chicken and croissant. The popcorn chicken is fried with skin on. A bit too salty. The croissant dessert is on point. Overall, this is a nice place for casual chilling.
October 2021 3.5 Located on the first floor facing Kennedy road and in the parking lot from the inside, it does feel like you've gone through a tunnel. Once you enter in, you'll be greeted by a nice facade of Alice in Wonderland with a mural and other details. This place is cozy. On weekend nights the place is a bit packed with teenagers who play darts and whom seem to know the owner. There aren't that many tables, about 8 or so. There are board games for you to play. Food wise: the fried chicken is surprisingly quite good. The chicken is both juicy and crispy with a nice Sancho sauce. The fried oysters are good as well, the oysters are quite fresh. Paired with a light wasabi sauce it was quite good. Drink wise: the passion fruit tea was ok. Though the seeds from the passion fruit should've been removed. The matcha creme foam latte, is very intense... Lots of matcha, but wasn't mixed well enough and had some clumps. A nice place to chill with friends.
Great and spacious place to hang. Gets kind of warm weekend nights when it gets busy hut staff is observant and courteous, and turns down the lights to reduce heat and increases the air conditioning. Overall a great place to hang out. I have yet to try all the food menu items but my go to is T4!
Nice place to gather with friends to darts, drink and sing karaoke. Nice chilling time on a friday or Saturday. Food is good and people are nice there, will go there often on the weekend if have time.
Yummy creme brûlée. Didn’t try their entrees. Good selection of cakes. Friendly staff. To find their entrance, go downstairs from T&T and head left.
Very friendly service. Latte and Americano was great. Had their crispy chicken bento. Daughter had pull pork with sweet potato fries. Highly recommend. Entrance in parking lot level.
I've noticed that lots of food places have been closing their doors earlier than pre-covid times. It's been nice to see that cafe alice is till open till late night with their full menu. I frequent this place when I get off work late and don't want to cook but still wanting a dine in experience. Their set meals especially the karaage is fantastic! Ps they also serve alcohol
