Such a cute place! We brought our dog here aswell and it was so nice and friendly all the dogs got to play together. The drinks were great and the staff were super friendly. We got a pineapple bun which looked perfect! The peppermint mocha was also very tasty! They also have dog treats you can purchase for your dogsFood: 5/5

I was so excited to see this cafe finally open ! The owners welcomed us with lovely smile, and my oat milk latte was tasty. The experience was more than I expected. The inside is really clean, and nicely organized. And pet friendly !! The cafe has a really happy vibe. If they just had good coffee, I probably wouldn't be so interested, but the atmosphere is so nice, so I've been going to this cafe to see them. I highly recommend visiting !

Cute doggos and coffee, sign me up! The espresso was smooth and nicely executed! They are super dog friendly and even when I don’t have a pet, I do love seeing and meeting doggies! Also they have some seating if you want to get some work done while having your pets interact with others too, which is nice! Service was great and quick! Great job overall! Great local coffee spot that has great coffee and allows dogs in the store! Kiwi had a great time playing with other dogs. Got tired out and slept the rest of the day at home! I personally had a latte which was very good. Comparable to all the hipster coffee joints downtown.

Koda the Bernese mountain dog is the cutest CEO of The Bernese Barista, a dog cafe that specializes in hand crafted beverages and offers pastries. The cafe's name is inspired from Koda and is decorated with a picture of him on the front of the store. Koda is always happy to meet new people. It was so nice to see him outside of grooming him at his own cafe. Loved the drinks and the service and would come back to see all the different fur babies who visit!

This place is great, to bring your dog into. Not too many places allow pets inside, but this is one of those very few places, that you can bring your dog inside. The atmosphere, and employees there are great. It’s very busy and packed during the weekends, and it’s abit calmer during the week. The cafe prices are okay, I find them to be abit pricey. They also have a pup cup for $1. Overall, I definitely recommend it for dog owners to come here!!!

Great little coffee shop on the corner with lots of natural light. Locally owned and run, plus it’s dog-friendly with “pup-cups”, grass outside for Fido to relieve on, and a spacious interior for interactions. There’s also secure wifi and lots of outlets for folks who need a chill spot to work. Plenty of parking, and a green space just across for breaks in between. Bonus for a very accessible bathroom. Would come back!

The Bernese Barista is a local coffee shop that recently opened up in Berczy Square near Kennedy and 16th Avenue. The owners are passionate about coffee but also passionate about dogs, thus giving rise to this first dog cafe outside of the downtown core. There are water bowls, and pup cups of whipped cream for purchase. But what keeps dog owners and non-dog owners coming to this place is the great coffee and teas. They also offer delicious baked treats including croissants, marble loaf breads, squares and muffins. This weekend June 25 & 26, 2022 they have $1 hot or cold coffees! Definitely recommend checking out this cute cafe.

The owner/employees should be more understanding if a dog accidentally poo on the floor. It should be expected. You're operating a pet cafe. The owner will clean it up. A friend was upset by how she was treated. No need to be mean about it. A great place to for dogs to meet each other. Please be kind.Food: 3/5

This is a great place you can actually bring your dog in with you while you have a bite to eat and drink! The staff is absolutely fantastic and the food is great I highly recommend the coffee!, and it's nice to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere and not feel guilty about leaving your dog at home alone. There are also dog friendly treats options and of course, water is available for dogs and humans, lol. I will definitely be coming back.
