This location is not as good as the others in the area. Not only did they get our order wrong, but they also over charged us. I ordered 2 hot dogs with fries and a 12" beef combo with no fries, but they gave me 7" beef combo with fries instead. The management did correct the issue by making me another sandwich and they also refunded me the difference. The place is clean, wit an outdoor patio and a drive-thru. They have plenty of TV'S and a work section with power outlets for your laptop. I hope they can get it together and solve the annoying little things that keep you from having an awesome experience.
Take a look at my cold dry beef sandwich that i could have done a better job at home with. Also the cheese spread just tastes ultra-processed. I'm only giving a bad review on Google because I gave them a bad review internally and then they sent me a credit to give them another shot and then you click on the redeem button and the qr-code deletes and you can't go back and print it to use it LOL. Bad food amd a scam.
I just love their sausage sandwich and fries. Their fries are better than many places I've been to. Crispy on outside and perfect inside. Absolutely delicious! They will also do extra crispy if you ask nicely.Food: 5/5
The food is absolutely delicious and satisfying. The service was fast and courteous while the seating area was spacious enough to be able to read or watch the televisions without distraction. Their beef and canollis are unbeatable. The Glen Ellyn location is also fairly new and very clean. Highly recommended if you are in the area.Food: 5/5
I made an online order for pickup. I stood waiting for 15 minutes while the staff just ignored me. I could see my bag sitting on the counter. They weren't busy. The staff was just too busy chatting to bother with customers. My fries were cold by the time I got my food, and the beef sandwich was half full, mostly just bread. Left a complaint online, got no response from management. Used to be good there, but never going back.
Fast, friendly service. Beef & sausage up to their usual excellence. Tried pizza for the first time. WOW it was great, kids pepperoni & adult beef and giardiniera. Thin crust, crisp & flavorful.
A little disappointed only because I know it can be way better. I’d like to give them a break for their first Friday open, but I’m really not inclined to. They have way too much experience to draw from. First they brought a sausage pizza for my daughter instead of cheese. Ok not a huge deal. Then I got my cheddar burger and my son got his 10” baptized beef which we both cut each in half and shared with each other. So I love brioche buns, but weirdly half of it was extremely hard. Then my son cut the beef in half and it was mostly dry as you could see by the photo. Definitely not baptized. We also asked for sport peppers on the side and received sweet instead. Also my burger tasted bland, could of used more season and it salt. Also the piece of lettuce actually Romain which is a plus had the big vein that Romain does that should of been removed. Last not so good thing was the Dr. Pepper mix seemed off as it was slightly on the seltzer side wish they had the newer soda machines. The good, strawberry shake was awesome as were the fries as usual and the pizza wasn’t bad either. We also really enjoyed the Christian music that was playing in the background. Overall disappointed, but I’ll be back because I know they can and it probably will be better next time. I really hope so since at $33 this isn’t a cheap meal for me and my two children. Could I have complained? Sure, but I’m not like that, I’d like my food done right the first time.
My first time at a buona came to try the beefless vegan subs! and Extremely rude service from the Hispanic lady with red hair, if you don't like customer service find another job that fits you.
Check out customer service didn't know how to put Saturday special sale price of $5.00. Italian beef and fried. but she charged us regular price 7.99 plus fried. It was fake ad.
Just want to give a big shout to Eduardo and his team at Buona Beef on Roosevelt rd. in Wheaton, IL. Yesterday we placed an order through Grubhub, the driver accidentally forgot our pizza with the order. Before the order even got to our door, Eduardo texted to let me know it was forgot and he is sending one of his team members to deliver the order. I was shocked!… Within 10 mins a Buona worker had our missing pizza… BUT there was more, Eduardo gave us a bag of deserts to apologize for the mishap. Not necessary at all…. But Wow! I couldn’t let this go without telling everyone how amazing this was. It was above and beyond and shouldn’t go unnoticed. The food was hot and delish!!!
