Amazing place! Great service and the food was fantastic! Our server Elise was more than accommodating and very pleasant to speak with. The IPAs and pale ales were the best beer on the menu. The cheese curds were light and good. The wings were spectacular. the atmosphere is great and during warmer months the open air atmosphere with the wood structure was comfortable. I highly recommend going here. Vegetarian options: It’s accommodating Kid-friendliness: There were kids present. Just make sure if you bring your own that they are well behaved Parking: Limited but there is street parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy first story entrance.
I wanted to love it here so bad. I gave it a star for the delicious food and another star for the friendly staff. But, the service itself was severely lacking, so it’s two stars at best. Our family of four made reservations for a Friday night and were seated promptly. No one brought us water, silverware, or napkins. Our server, while very sweet, brought our drinks out separately - my soda was about 2/3 full, as if it has already been drunk out of. It was weird. My husband ordered a beer and our server completely forgot it and we had to remind him 20 minutes later. Our food wasn’t brought to us all at once either - spaced about 5-10 minutes apart. My son was done with his food by the time the rest of us finally got ours. My daughter and I ordered medium-well burgers, but they were SO pink on the inside. More like medium rare. What irritated us was that a huge table that arrived after us all received their food far earlier than we got ours. We are not picky and are usually very chill, but the service completely turned us off from coming back. Like I said before, the only redeeming quality was the friendly staff and good food. But, for an $85 bill, I found that it definitely wasn’t worth it.
I had the best time here seeing a band. The servers and bartenders are super friendly. The inside is cool and updated and the beer tastes good. One of their beers now is my favorite. I definitely will go back.
We had a party here for my Wife's birthday, a surprise party. I can't say enough about all the help and different ideas i was given from Sundee, Joe and all the staff. Party was awesome, food and appetizers were on point, everyone was was treated well. Don't hesitate to have your party here, I had 30 plus people in the party room, they allowed us to come in early to decorate and prep for our arrival. My wife and our family had a great time!
The staff were very polite and helpful but I ordered a burger medium and the meat was barely cooked to the point it was just gray on the outside and the entire patty literally smashed out from the bun with the consistency of raw meat. I was too hungry to request it to be remade. But the staff member said she would have gladly done it over for me if I asked.
Went early on a Friday night. We were excited to happen upon their menu a few weeks ago and notice that unlike all the other pub like places you could substitute a veggie burger in any sandwich/burger with NO UPCHARGE I was very pleased with the food but the service was very lacking. During a 60 minute dining experience our server came by 4 times. Food also took along time. We typically order apps along with our kids and then order ours a bit later but since the server rarely came over we ordered ours too late and kids were almost done by the time our food got to the table. I think we’ll give it another chance since our food was good. Price on par with other establishments but we don’t get charged extra or get boring lettuce tomato onion options for burgers because we don’t eat meat. So big plus.
We held a 30 person retirement party in the front window area Sun 5/30/21. It was absolutely gorgeous out with windows open and room set up well! I would definitely recommend for a small party. We had a dedicated server who did a wonderful job! Our food choices were brick oven pizzas, avocado hummus and calamari and all were a great hit. Sundee was very easy to work with and gave excellent suggestions for the party. Thank you for a great day!
First time here..found out they've been there since 2019. All the times we've been to DuPage med, never noticed them. Waiter admitted they need better signage. For bearings, they're near Barones. Good beer menu, selections should appeal to anyone. We went for lunch. Typical menu of apps, salads, sandwiches. Dinner menu a little more extensive with Flatbreads and a few entrees. We both had burgers that were cooked to perfection and juicy. I also got a cup of the beer cheese soup to take home. The soup was thick and tasty, lightly spiced. I added a tad of hot sauce at home and dipped some tortilla chips in that I had at home. A lot of people out walking, so this is probably a great neighborhood bar. Overall, it was a pleasant afternoon with friendly staff. Parking: Not sure how busy this place gets..has parking but small...there is also street parking.
This was terrible. We went based on the reviews and it was just a mess from the moment we walked in. No wonder we were able to make reservations here because everywhere else in Glen Ellyn was booked. The cocktail was subpar, the beer was wrongly categorized and I had to wait for 20 minutes for a soda. One of our meals was missing the requested chicken. I specifically asked if the season fries were spicy and was told not at all. They came covered in black pepper and when I told the server at the end, just as an fyi for future patrons, her response was "No one has ever said they're spicy". For the price and lack of quality, I'll be shocked if this place is still open in a year.
Nice setting, good for gathering, nice place for drinks, but the food was low quality. High prices for deep fried menu... Had the pork nachos, greasy, no toppings, no veggies. . Cheese spread or something on Mac and the Nachos. ..
