I never review places but this place deserves a review and mostly for one worker. She was the kindest person that has served me any where. I didn’t catch her name, but she had a tattoo on her upper forearm and her hair was dark and reddish in a bun. She had an incredible attitude. I told her she was extremely kind. GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE. And the food was delicious:

TERRIBLE service. I placed a catering order that they somehow “didn’t get” placed. I stood in the store for 40 minutes and was continued to be ignored. I had to butt in after 20 minutes to ask for help as I was continually ignored. Once I finally got to the apparent only woman that could help me, she told me she didn’t have the order. I called the person who placed the order I was picking up and asked the exact items. Once I had the list I went to get the woman again to let her know what it was only to be ignored again for another 20 minutes. She told me she didn’t have it and that if I wanted it I’d have to wait a while. No apology no explanation, NOTHING. I get things happen, but to be ignored and then nothing to right the wrong was upsetting.
Drive thru Order the cashier has on a sweatshirt that was full of animal hair. Really disgusting the cashier said she has 4 cats and that’s why she was full of nasty cat hairs that could fall on people’s food. The manager must thinks it’s ok to have an employee working As cashier dropping cat hairs on the food I won’t go back to this location very nasty.
Our family loves this local sandwich shop chain. Always a good option for a quick bite. The staff always feels a little rushed but overall are friendly. Kid-friendliness: They have kids meals though may not be enough for anyone over 9.
Glen Ellyn, IL location sucks. Ordered via Ubereats. The shake was frozen. Like they made it last night, put it in freezer and gave it to the first sap to order a chocolate shake today. Lost a lifetime customer. Idiots. If it was an option for me, I’d drive it back there and demand a freshly made shake.
I have had Potbelly numerous times and have ordered so many times including catering for corporate events. I will NEVER use this location!! One of the most incompetent locations ever! ordered 2 sandwiches online at 9am for 11:30am delivery its now 12pm and still don't have them. the restaurant doesn't want to answer their phone, had to call 12 times to get someone to answer. People are at work and order bc they can't leave and have limited time and count on this. hence the reason we try to be proactive and do things early. leave it to this place to screw it up. we have a class full of students we have to tend to, now we can't even have lunch bc you couldn't get it to us. so I hope that makes you feel great about yourself! what a joke you are! Honestly, I really feel you should refund all of my money for this order as by the time you decide to deliver this food, we wont be able to even eat it and it will go to waste, I will never order from this location ever again! absolutely disgusted by this place! shame on you potbelly! do better! what a disaster of a place you are!
I just went in to go to the bathroom today. I'm an Uber driver and it was right where I dropped someone off. I would just like to say that I've always loved the food there. Also, the atmosphere in there retains the atmosphere of the first pot belly on Lincoln avenue many years ago. The only thing missing was the guy playing acoustic guitar on the balcony. Otherwise it is such a touching retro homage to that first pot belly on Lincoln avenue. Keep it up guys.
I got to the drive-thru at 9:52 pm and got a voice automated message they were closed. I know it was close to closing 10:00 pm but people were inside and just looked at me as I left. Why post closing hours if you're going to close early?
Great food but they forgot to give us our chips with our to go order
