Delicious! But SO expensive. The price bumps it down a star. It is a must-visit for my people visiting Chicago from out of town. But wow is it PRICY. Pictured is a slice of the large spinach deep dish with Italian sausage added. Additionally, the medium house salad described as “serves 2-3 people”. It was delicious—friendly waiter, great vibe. But oh so expensive, and a decent wait for the pie. Order ahead maybe next time. A visit for Once a year, friends!
The Pizza is good quality and prepared with care. Lots of peppers and onions in the stuffed pizza. Kind of a long wait for it to cook but that means it’s being made more or less from scratch I guess.
Ordered deep dish takeout from this location. Delicious! Worth checking out. Ample seating. Great location.
Ordered take-out on Saturday night. Pizzas were hot and ready. We are from our of town and think the pizza tasted great!Food: 5/5
This Saturday night, I went to dinner with my family at Giordano's, in the place there were three occupied tables and it took the waiters 15 minutes to get to my table and they said that there was no one who could serve me, I got up ready to leave and one of the cashiers promised to take my order and serve me. I take my order and the pizza took an hour and a half to arrive, just wait because it's my favorite pizza but they have a lousy manager and disgusting service. The menu warns that the preparation of the pizza takes 45 minutes. I waited twice as long and the pizza really had a bad presentation.
My neighbor ordered 2 large stuffed pizzas for a Superbowl oarty and the billl was $90. They were overcooked and the crust was like cardboard. Usually very satisfied with our orders but this was disappointing for the price.
Planned a vacation around getting some Chicago style pizza. We picked the establishment as the Giordano establishment that we wanted to eat at. The pizza was delicious, as we got the deep dish pepperoni. The service was excellent. The appetizer of cheesy bread was divine. I enjoyed the visit very much as did my husband. Thank you for your service and delicious food!
Pizza is amazing! This is where my husband and I went after being married and now headed back for my mom's birthday. Food is fabulous, but our waiter was very kind but couldn't understand what we wanted seperate bills and what to be charged on it. It was very kind he tried to speak our language but English would of been fine too hence the misunderstanding. He did take a little bit to get refill on our drinks too. But overall, really great pizza place!
This Giordano’s location is consistently mismanaged. We live nearby so we return only due to the convenience. They seldom get the orders right, they’re always slower than they say and their staff always seems to be standing around with nothing to do. Tonight they didn’t have phone or internet service. After attempting to do a phone order I ordered a pickup order online. When I went to pick it up they didn’t have the order even though they charged me online. I understood their technical difficulties and reordered the pizza. They told me it would be done in 40 min, but after sitting and waiting it took over 70 min to get the pizza. Time to find a new deep dish pizza place!
$3 more to substitute one ingredient and you’re not told that until the bill arrives and you’re wondering how a $26 pizza became $29. It makes me wonder if the pizza they serve is premade and frozen rather than made to order. We also waited an hour for our pizza. When we arrived and ordered, we were the table.
