Budget Car & Truck Rental

Absolutely terrible. I prepaid in full, yet when I picked up the car, the paperwork showed a balance owing. I pointed out the error, and it was supposed to have been corrected, but the extra charge was still showing when I dropped the car off. I again pointed this out and was again told it would be corrected, but when I checked my credit card transactions a few days later, there was a pending charge showing. I phoned Budget and was told for a third time that it would be corrected; I was also supposed to get a call from a manager, which never came. The charge was posted today, so I called AGAIN to try to resolve the overcharge. This time I was told the extra charge had already been corrected, but the agent could not give me any confirmation of this and had no response when I said it should not have been charged in the first place. I again asked to speak with a manager and was told that no one was available. I have now talked to four different people with no resolution. There were also issues with the car, in particular that the driver-side window did not roll up all the way, which made the car both noisy and cold. I mentioned this when returning the car and was first accused of causing the problem, when I didn't even use the window, and was then told I should have brought the car back right away, which I did not have time to do, especially after waiting for more than 20 minutes for the agent to correct the overcharge—which never happened. I would NEVER rent from Budget again.

Our car was towed (unfortunate story) when budget came to pick it up they cleaned it out and took whatever they wanted. We had some very personal items that are irreplaceable. And because the contract was broken they said we had no leg to stand on. It still doesn’t mean it’s ok to take other people’s belongings. The staff there should have some moral standards. My mom is a good person who gives to much and people take advantage of her. It’s a sad situation. We as a family are going through a difficult time. This hits us harder then it would normally. So disappointed. And broken at the same time. #yegbudget

Fast easy service. Pacifica vehicle was awesome. No issues. Easy pick up at Edmonton airport.

Great service with new clean vehicles. Great rate! Staff are professional and accommodating. Will definitely book with them again.

Very happy with budget car rental. Have rented cars from them a number of times . All have been great.
