Bow View Lodge

Stayed at this hotel several times. The staff is always friendly and helpful, you're right next to the Bow River which has walking and hiking trails right outside the door of the hotel. 3 minute walk from downtown plus there's a pool, steam room and hot tub that you can access at the Banff Park Lodge. What more could ya want for a little getaway? See you guys again soon!

If you are after clean functional accommodation that's not too fancy and elaborate this is the place for you. We have been twice , its a great location next to the river. We have seen moose & deer walking & grazing along the river pathway. It's a great place to stay and enjoy Banff.

Nice, reasonably priced hotel near the river. Nice and close to everything along Banff Ave and the rest of the commercial core. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. The pool and fitness area are located in the adjacent Banff Park Lodge, which shouldn't be an issue. We left some items in the room after checking out, but with a phone call to the front desk everything was taken care of.

Staff goes out of there way to make sure everything is in order, rooms are small and quaint but still very nice, everything overall is wonderful and I would stay here again... And a big hand out to Chris (Manager) for make sure our trip was amazing

Bare bones, older facility with early 90's room decor and spartan cable service, but clean with comfortable beds and probably the best location in town - right on the river and therefore super quiet. Affiliated with the Banff Park Lodge, so swimming pool access is free and just steps away. Sad that folks throw their cigarette butts from the balcony onto the lawn below when ashtrays are provided on the balconies... and that staff/crew don't apparently clean them up in a timely manner. Having stayed in 75% of Banff hotels, the Bow View Lodge might just have become my go-to choice for places to stay in Banff.
