Story

This Boutique B&B is located in the heart of Banff, and a 2 minute walk from Downtown Core. Perched on a hill, the windows of each room have great vantage points of nearby scenery while offering a cozy and quite place to sleep. Albert is in charge of cooking which he draws from his past experience of running Restaurant Le Beaujolais for over 36 years. While adding his personal touch to dishes, the meals at this B&B rival any restaurant in town including his own Restaurant Le Beaujolais. Esther is also on the scene making sure you always feel at home, and if you ask politely will always take you up tunnel mountain.

This is a marvellous place to stay if you want to get away from synthetic  hotels and experience a warm and luxurious welcome. And that's before mentioning the amazing breakfasts that Albert prepares so lovingly. Or the rooms, generous in size and a real pleasure to spend time in on the days you cant ski.   Albert and Esther are lovely people who just seem to love making their guests feel at home. We've never stayed in a better B&B or hotel for that matter.

My husband and I just got back from a week trip to Banff, Canada. We stayed at the Beaujolais Boutique Bed and Breakfast at Thea's House and we had an absolutely lovely time. Albert and Esther are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcomed. Each day started with a delicious breakfast and lively conversation. Albert and Esther gave us tips on things to do in Banff, supplied us with some outdoor equipment for winter hiking, and gave us extra breakfast snacks for the day. What genuine and gracious people they are! I don't think our trip would have been nearly as amazing if we hadn't stayed at Thea's House and would definitely recommend it to anyone. We hope to be back some day!

best place ever. The owners are super down to earth and hospitable. My husband and I really enjoyed the breakfasts as they were spectacular and jumped started us into an awesome day on the slopes. Our room was huge with vaulted ceiling, glad we did not stay at the Fairmont and went with this gem instead

Just spent the past weekend there to celebrate our anniversary.The accomodations are 1st class.Spacious,well equipped,spotless,but most of all is the attentive and welcoming owners.The breakfast which is included was fantastic.Extras on site like homemade cookies,coffee and a fridge full of refreshments located in a common area for your enjoyment show the type of extra attention to details that made our stay super enjoyable.Great location as the property is 5min walk to main street Banff.My highest recommendation,you won't be disappointed!!
