Bonnybank Bed & Breakfast

We stayed at Bonnybank for three nights in July 2022. Carla was a wonderful host and the location was truly beautiful, natural and relaxing. We saw lots of trees and birds and rabbits and ate delicious herbs and peaches. The location is about 30 minutes from the attractions at Niagara Falls, but easy to get to everywhere. Carla has great recommendations for local area and is very knowledgeable about the history and nature of Niagara region. This would be a wonderful place for a small wedding or celebration. Thank you to Carla and Willow for the hospitality and care.

Just back from our fourth visit to Bonnybank. Carla is a wonderful host. Love the historic house and the beautiful property. And love listening for owls that are at the sanctuary next door.

What a lovely experience. This charming historic house is furnished with a collection of antiques, local pottery and collectibles, and is located in a quiet rural area with a pretty garden and an untamed river bank. There is an owl sanctuary next door and you can hear the birds at night, and even see them if you're careful and quiet. The owner Carla is so knowledgeable about the history and environment of the area. She served up delicious local food and even a wild puffball mushroom that grew on the property. The other delightful host is a dog named Willow who is so friendly and well behaved. Rural properties always have their quirks like not all the taps have potable water but Carla supplied plenty of carafes. Highly recommended for an unusual, timeless and atmospheric stay in the heart of wine country.

Carla Carlson runs a remarkable bed and breakfast place. She has impressive knowledge about the area and can share lots of trip ideas. Her breakfast was rich and delicious! Gluten free/vegan option available. Pick up/drop off, lunch pack, kitchen use. Queen room from 125 CAD no tax.

A wonderful and natural location in a heautiful home in the heart of the Jordan Valley. Carla is a wonderful hostess and the property is peaceful and tranquil with beautiful floa and fauna aplenty. A great choice for your next stay.

Such a lovely B&B. The owners are ever so kind and generous. The home is beautiful, as are the grounds, and the puppy, Willow, is adorable. I very much enjoyed my stay and the complimentary breakfast! Will definitely return.
