I have camped all across Canada and have to say this is one of the best places I've stayed. A very friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained grounds and immaculate bathrooms and showers. Good water and power and we had a perfectly level site with lovely willow trees and grass. Excellent lake near by for kayaking. Llts of nearby hiking trails. And even a village with "upscale" shops nearby if you like. Highly recommended and we plan on returning soon.
We just returned from a week long stay here to visit the area’s vineyards, the staff are incredible. This campground is absolutely awesome, the washrooms are the cleanest I have seen at a campground . The location is perfect. There are hiking trails on the property and close by. We had a mishap while we were getting ready to leave and I needed medical attention Gina and Rick were extremely helpful. We are already booked for next year.
Great experience in a glamping tent. They provided a free bag of wood and free bag of ice, as well as a charging device for any electronics we had, and it lasted 2 days with 3/4 bars left! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the string lights in site 44, but that didn’t matter. The experience was really cool, and it’s a great campground!
It was very peaceful there. Everyone was very friendly. Not overly expensive. Great water pressure. Very close to wineries. BONUS We are definitely going back again and againService: 5/5
Be careful of your belongings during your stay. We've really enjoyed the campground and have done 2 weekend stays here this year. However, this time we had 6 of us next to each other with our tents-- overnight, someone came and stole all 3 of our female bathing suits drying on our clothes line right next to our tent & car, and left the male bathing suits untouched. Very brazen and creepy-- never had any thefts/anything like this happen in past camping experiences. We informed the staff and understand nothing can be done, but would unfortunately advise future guests to put everything away I just read a review below someone else had their axe and firetongs stolen. The washrooms were not as immaculate compared to our first stay late May. On Saturday at 8am, busy time with people using the facilities, 2 of the women's stalls had no toilet paper. It's otherwise a beautiful campsite, with friendly & flexible staff, cute fun pool, and close to wonderful wineries and activities.
Seasonal site fees are high and out of our budget, camping is still affordable. There's a pool and a playground, also a social shed with events and sometimes live music. Very clean bathrooms and always a quit park, fires out by midnight in accordance to local Fire codes. Would recommend for a young family as this is a very safe park,it's a smaller park with low a number of seasonal sites. There are pull in sites, lots of camping sites, also there are two Airbnb houses for rent, glamping tents and new for this season two new beautiful tiny homes available.
We love this campsite and come every year! Staff are friendly and it’s usually pretty quiet! Showers are fairly clean and sites are a nice size.
Great campground! We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights. Washrooms and showers were spotless, very well maintained. They even have coin laundry! Staff were polite and pleasant. In regards to other reviews about the “bird bangers”, bird cannons to scare birds away from eating the grapes in nearby wineries; they were not that loud, they sounded like distant and very faint fireworks. They did not prevent us from sleeping nor did they wake us up. We would definitely come back again for a stay!
This campground is run by lovely people who really take pride in their operation. I camped for 2 nights. It was super hot weather and the swimming pool really helped. Loved the walking trails. Spotless bathrooms. Very quiet at night yes the nearby vineyards have canons that keep the birds off during the day. It didn’t bother me. In any case I recommend it and will surely return.
Nice campground with large sites. Family run. Day use area and tenting by the river. Well maintained. Quiet. Beutiful area.
