Body Blitz Spa East

Body Blitz Spa is one of the best spa experiences that I have ever had. The staff is great, they show you around if it is your first time visiting. You are provided with towels, slippers, a robe and a locker for your belongings. The water circuit is relaxing and detoxifying. I highly recommend ordering a smoothie, it was refreshing to drink while in the waters. I had a massage, the RMT was great, the pressure was deep enough for me. Be careful where you park, read the signs, there is no street parking from 4 pm to 6 pm Monday to Friday.

So relaxing. The first cycle was a little less relaxing because I was still finding my way around and figuring out what to do. But the second and third cycles were awesome. Love the eucalyptus steam room. It's clothing optional, although only two people were nude when I went/ almost everyone was wearing a swim suit. There are hooks everywhere to hang up your towel within view. But I'd recommend just not drying off in-between pools. And remember to bring the little towel into the sauna and steam room to sit on. Also, the cold plunge is hella cold-- but actually do it!! After the initial shock it's actually not as bad. And you feel very awake and refreshed.

I recently visited Body Blitz, and it was a horrible experience. I went to use the waters, which did not seem to be clean that day (there was garbage floating in the dead sea pool). Furthermore, the steam was not working. I left there after about an hour (including taking a shower). As I was walking out I told the front desk how bad my experience was, and they said management would contact me. I then followed up with an email, and have yet to hear anything. Not giving this place another penny!

What a bad experience. Let me start by saying I have been getting therapeutic massages monthly, for the last decade. I am open to many techniques and styles, and have never complained about a massage. But I received a straight up TERRIBLE massage from this place. The woman used no technique... I asked her to work on my neck and she rubbed it with a towel? She also strummed on my tight muscles like a guitar... It was amateurish and clumsy feeling. No part of it was enjoyable. I told the front desk, and shared how bad it was (expressing how awkward I felt doing this), and she apologized and said a manager would call me the next day. No call. Two days, no call. I finally have to chase the manager down, and she finally told me there was nothing she could do but offer me a $25 dollar credit towards my next. TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS? This is a $185 massage to start which is SO overpriced for an hour massage. Never going back.

I’m really happy with this spa. The therapeutic waters cycle is amazing, the products in the showers and change rooms are decent and the service is great. I have had body bakes, scrubs and therapeutic massages and all have met my expectations.
