Honestly the service was nice and girls who did our manicures & pedicures were very sweet, but experience was ruined at the end.
I had booked a paraffin hand and foot treatment over the phone for 2 people. I even double checked the booking after the confirmation phone call. At the end however, they ended up charging me and my friend $100 extra each because they changed the booking to a full Sweetgrass spa manicure and pedicure. I complained, and asked for a discount or something, but they wouldn’t budge (including the manager). They kept saying the service was already done, but I never even booked those treatments!
Not sure if I’ll be coming back unfortunately. Was excited about this women’s only spa, but now I’m turned off.
If you do end up going, just triple check the booking I guess, but might be better to just go to a different spa.

This female only spa does not allow "couples massages" , which I find a bit strange. They also force you to pay a mandatory 18% gratuity if you book services for 4+ people but you do not actually get to enjoy the services in a group setting. So as a hint if you want to determine the gratuity (based on ACTUAL great service received) then book individually and do not mention you are together. Furthermore, they force you without telling you in advance, that they charge another 18% on all food/beverage items to ensure their staff are "properly compensated". However, the front desk staff are not waitresses and they do not serve you like one. They do not show you the bottle of wine you order, they do not leave it in sight for you nearby, they do not come ask you if you want more wine or offer you water after your treatments (you need to go find them). This is totally BS. Tipping is meant to be the customer's way of thanking staff for going out of their way...not mandatory based on some skewed system where the business tells you what you need to pay their staff to do their basic jobs. This spa is expensive. They should adequately pay their staff and not pass the buck to the customer, or at least train their staff in serving to a standard of earning an 18% tip!
Spa services were good and I appreciated the massage and facial so I gave 2 stars for the girls that worked on me. But otherwise, $450 for two services and 1/3 bottle of wine is really expensive for this basic spa.

Tried to book an appointment for a friend who is a new mom and received very rude phone service. I inquired whether the spa would allow my friend to bring her (sleeping) one month old baby to a pedicure there. The first woman I spoke to scoffed and said she would check and call me right back. When I hadn't heard anything in three hours, I phoned again and the woman I spoke to gave me a ton of attitude and hung up on me. I completely understand if a place doesn't want children (even very tiny ones) in their establishment, but the tone was completely unnecessary and offensive.

My wife and I came here on a spa date and we had such a great time. The facial was incredible (ask for Natasha) her hands are magic. The energy was awesome and the message was amazing. Best spa in Toronto hands down
