Quite literally the best haircut of my life! I came in with a pretty shoddy mop on top of my head that I had totally let go. A busy schedule and a tight budget meant that my "do" took a back seat on my list of priorities for a while and I needed some serious style and colour repair. Maureen at P&H Salon to the rescue! I came in with visions of wild makeovers and dramatic colour changes. Having never met me before, Maureen wisely and patiently listened to me for quite some time during our consultation. She then helped guide me to a new style that would truly excite and suit me, and she also managed to temper my wild ideas of a dramatic colour overhaul into something that was a much less dramatic change without sacrificing the high impact. The end result. I walked out of the salon that day feeling like a completely brand new and improved version of myself. Maureen nailed it. My short and sassy do completely suit as did the subtle lightening of my previously far too dark jet black hair into a chocolate brown with a few copper-tone highlights. Pleased as I was, I was completely unprepared for the large number of rave compliments I received from people at work and from friends and family. My haircut clearly had a dramatic impact on people and it definitely had a big role in making me feel wonderful every day as well. I'm literally writing this review having just made my follow up appointment with Maureen and P&H for a refresh of the cut and colour. No more letting my hair style go. The team at P&H has kicked my "do" up the list of priorities to "mandatory". Nothing like a truly great haircut to make you feel a little better about almost everything. Well done guys. I can't wait to come back.

Really disappointed with the HORRIBLE experience I had at P&H. It was my first time there and I just needed a quick cut, no colour, which the website said would be $45-$55. They started by washing my hair, without indicating that this could be an added cost. The stylist did not seem well trained and ended up cutting bangs into my hair which I definitely did not request. She then tried to make it better by curling my hair, which somehow made it look worse. At this point, I was upset and just wanted to pay and get out of there. At the cash register, they tried to quote me a price of $140, which is triple the price I got from their website so naturally I was shocked! The woman said she would discount the cut to $95 and eventually to $85 because I was upset with the cut. However, this was still double what I was originally quoted. Apparently they sneak in all sorts of extra charges for washing your hair etc plus the website prices were outdated. I still didn’t want to pay that price but the woman was incredibly rude and told me that I had no choice but to pay. I checked and I see now that they have updated their website to say $65+, but I would still avoid at all cost because that still seems to be much lower than what they will actually charge you. Terrible customer service all around.

Was at the salon 7 to 8 weeks ago - for a color and a cut & blow-dry. I had a fair bit of red pigment coming through and wanted it corrected. The girl helping me did a great job - both color and cut. I went in today for a touch up, and was rushed, so asked to hold on the blow-dry. When I got to the counter, I was charged $180 and the receipt stated "color & wash/blow-dry". When I mentioned that's what I paid the previous time many more services - pointing to my wet hair, she stated "that was my choice, they only sell in combos" and proceeded to tell me that if this place is too "expensive for me and doesn't fit my budget" I should go somewhere with "lesser quality products, not the fine Italian ones that P&H salon uses" that will fit me better. The combo comment is a little odd given 4 reviews below - for a lady complaining about the same issue - he quoted the price of $45 for a blow-dry? Well, I sure won't have trouble finding a place that charges less for touching up my roots?

I came in with fried and bleached blonde hair after a different salon made critical errors. My hair was a one shade of pure yellow and Paolo and his team took such amazing care of me. He not only transformed my hair into an amazing blonde with high/lowlights, he also gave my hair an amazing treatment to restore some health. He provided me with amazing tips and advice throughout my visit and gave me such a genuine welcome. Love this place. I will be back 100%. I have found my "go-to salon". Thank You Paolo for everything! You are a life saver!!
