Best Buy

I recently went into Best Buy to buy a new laptop. I have purchased other things from them before but this experience was different.nIn the past I knew what I wanted and didn’t engage with customer support.nWith the laptop I needed extra help. The fellow who helped me was awesome; he knew the product, wanted to make sure I was getting what I needed and was very patient and polite.nIt was an enjoyable experience!

This probably one of the biggest electronics store in KwC region. Wide varieties of all electronics and appliances. I went there to get headphones and they had good options for those though more collection would have been good.

Always a garbage experience at the Best Buy Kitchener location, especially in the mobile section.nnI’ve been waiting over 60 minutes just to speak with someone, only to be told the item is out of stock. The staff seem in no hurry to help customers — they sit with one customer for extremely long periods while everyone else keeps waiting.nnHonestly, every visit here has been a frustrating and disappointing experience.nnIf you’re planning to shop for phones, I highly recommend going to Fairway Mall instead — the staff there seem to have much more energy and interest in helping customers.nnIt feels like the gift card promotions are the only thing attracting customers, possibly to compensate for the poor service at this location

Was at Best Buy recently and got amazing service from Dua. She was professional, helpful and very knowledgeable. She went out of her way to help us and I was very satisfied with the service. In a time when we rarely go into the store to buy something- it’s refreshing to get amazing service. Thanks Dua!

Went in and purchased an almost $300 pair of earbuds, I was unable to demo the earbuds at all but was told that I wouldn't be able to return them only exchange them. I bought them thinking, based on that information from the sales associate that I would be able to exchange them if I had an issue with them.nnThey were so uncomfortable that I only had them in for an hour before taking them back out again, made my ears hurt from the silicone. When I went to exchange them I was told that I couldn't exchange them unless there was a product defect, and that if I did it could only be for another pair or a different brand of the same value or more. So they wanted me to spend more money at there store if I wanted to exchange them.nnThis is not the only issue I have had with this store. The last time I was in to get a screen protector replaced as I have been paying monthly for a protection plan. They kept bouncing me around the store saying that another department would help me, had no stock of any screen protectors that would fit my phone, I had purchased the phone only a few months before from this very store. It took almost an hour to get my screen protector swapped out!nnBest Buy does not stand behind their products, they do not adequately explain their return policies before a purchase is made and their service has often been slow. I highly suggest that people reconsider spending there money at this store specifically and Best Buy in general.
