Ok if you are lucky enough to have a doctor that will see you. Good luck if you drop in 10 minutes after they open. They encourage you to use their online system for info but the info. they provide about wait times is ALWAYS WRONG including the fact that they can choose to close early when they feel like it. I looked up waiting times once on a Saturday, drove across town to find out that they decided to close ONE HOUR EARLY! Absurd for medical care. Some of their staff are great and some are useless, including one that wouldn't give me a copy of a blood test requisition that I lost until I saw my doctor again. If you don't have a doctor there, and you have a choice, DON'T GO THERE!

For a start, this clinic has two registration kiosks, which is an advantage over some others and speeds up the process. It took about 10 minutes to get at turn at a terminal and register. This was followed by about 40 minutes of waiting and preliminary interview by an assistant before I saw a physician. Dr. Proud was courteous, efficient and most professional. No hesitation about recommending her or this clinic. These clinics are the safety net of our medical system, catching those who are not covered by family physicians. They cannot predict or control patient load, and must work quickly to stay in business. Family physicians have comparable wait times even for scheduled appointments, as do hospital clinics, and neither are instantly available. It is not the fault of clinic staffs that not everyone has better access to health care. Patience and understanding on the part of patients would be helpful in making an overloaded system work.

This was my first visit to an Appletree clinic and I hope it will be my last. Signs posted in the clinic to give information were confusing and contradictory. The staff at the desk gave the impression that the patients were inconveniencing them. They lost my card with my prescriptions listed on it. How could they be so careless and unprofessional ? Do they lose people's health cards too ?

It says they are open til a certain hour but don't believe it. They close the doors at that time which means they stop processing patients like an hour before that. Suggest you call first and find out what time they really close.

The people who work at reception are courteous but not friendly. THey look like they don´t like their jobs. One of them gave my daughter vaccines and was nervous, quiet, and shaking the whole time. Most of the walk-in doctors have been nice and done the best they could without knowing us. The wait time is usually close to an hour.
