came here on the first hot day of the spring here, i really enjoyed the atmosphere. lots of different flavours to choose from. never really been a gelato person so this was a cool experience. tastes pretty good! i would come back on another hot day
After spending four weeks in Italy eating a lot of gelato, we thought it was time to check-out what's available in Calgary, and this was our first stop.nnA nice setting, clean, with good space for sitting, should you choose. A large selection of flavours, with options of cones or cups and single or double scoops. The service was friendly and efficient, even though things were busy on a Sunday evening.nnWe found the texture of the product to be firmer than any we had in Italy. We wondered if that had to do with a lower fat content here, so it freezes harder? However, the flavours we selected were great. The lemon had a bright citrusy flavour and the strawberry tasted like fresh berries.nnThis is s great place to enjoy gelato in Calgary and we will be back.
Been there quite a few times now. Forgot to take photos each time. I am glad I took a couple this time. The gelatos were great. The other food items are not so much. The cannoli was a bit underwhelming. If you want to try gelato around the area definitely a great stop. They have some interesting flavours for sure.
Finally tried Amato gelato and amazed by the huge selection of their gelato and sorbetto flavors. We also tried the Bomboloni Gelato Panino gelato-stuffed donut. We enjoyed our Amato Gelato experience!
Big selection of flavours, staff was friendly. The waffle cone and scoop of sorbetto is quite small compared to different ice cream places we have gone to. The passionfruit sorbetto was nice and i took a tub of hedgebog gelato to go.
