Alpine Motor Inn

We just finished a stay for three nights in a family room with our three young kids and had a lovely time! Service was great, location was great a few mins from Katoomba main shops and close to local attractions, room was warm, neat, quiet and bedding comfortable. Considering how cold it was in Katoomba this weekend, the heater and electric blankets were more than sufficient to keep us warm throughout the night. It was perfect for what we needed for a nice weekend away with the family. Will definitely return! Rooms: Very clean, quiet and warm Nearby activities: Three sisters, scenic world, museums

As rooms go it was fine but the listing claims services which no longer exist. Don't trust the website for what to expect. It's fine if you just want a cheap place to spend the night.Rooms: 2/5

Stayed a few times now, rooms always clean, warm in winter, cool in summer. Traffic from highway can be a little noisy at certain times a year, but overall would recommend. Rooms: Always clean and tidy. Has everything you need for a night or two.

Next to the great western highway, 1 km away from katoomba center. Room is spacious, bed is spacious, although my room entrance light isn't workingRooms: 5/5

Really lovley people let me book in early as i was having surgury that day so i wanted to drop my stuff off , room was clean tidy well equipt , bed were both comfy everything was provided id definatly stay there again very nice atmostphere

I will give 5 stars for the price. Room and bed is very spacious. Sheets look very new and clean. Despite on the side of busy road, you don't hear any noises in the room. I don't like when bath towels are not white, and of cause the deco is a bit old, but for the price, that is expected. Overall, it's comfortable stay. Recommended.Rooms: 5/5

Rooms were clean and tidy. Very short drive to Katoomba. Even though the freeway was right near us, it was not very noticeable noise wise. A large group consisting of numerous Indian families arrived on our last night and was quite boisterous in the afternoon.Rooms: 3/5

For a 3-star motel, this was fabulous value! I just stayed 4 nights mid winter. Loved the outlook to grass and trees, and as the huge windows were double glazed, it was quiet and cosy. I didn't need the air-conditioning on once! The room was spacious and well-equipped. A really comfortable bed with crispy fresh white linen and a shower with excellent pressure. Table and chairs, couch and desk - all great, as were TV reception and Internet. The owner was always helpful with any question I had. Just a few minutes drive to Katoomba and Leura make the Alpine Motor Inn excellent value for money.

Booked at the Alpine for a nostalgic stay on a road trip. Room and linen were clean, as advertised, service polite and efficient. Sure, not high end, but great for the price and location.
