Añejo Restaurant

We visited this place during their happy hour last weekend. The guacamole and chips were excellent – perfectly proportioned with just the right balance of spice, flavor, and texture. The chips, with their unique and flavorful salt, added to the enjoyment. I appreciated the interactive touch of the server mixing the ingredients in front of us. Among the tacos, the fish taco stood out as the best, while the chicken taco was a bit dry, as mentioned by my friends. The beef taco was okay but slightly on the dry side. Overall, it's a nice place to try, especially if you're in the area.

Our server was Jamie and she was excellent. She was very charismatic and set up the mood for our afternoon drink session LOL. The other workers were also great and hospitable like Jamie too.nnI got the beef and pork tacos and they were great. I also got the guava and mango margaritas which were also great.nnThey also have a happy hour offer which reduces the price of selected tacos and margaritas. It was such a good deal!nnI would highly recommend and definitely would go again!

My friend brought me here. A great restaurant with delicious food and drinks at affordable prices. This is my first time eating tacos. I'm not too familiar with this dish so I won't rate it much. However, their fish tacos were delicious and I really enjoyed them. My cocktail wasn't bad, but it wasn't too special either. It's okay in its price range. What's special is that they have amazingly delicious desserts. It's churros dipped in nutella. Their cakes are crispy and hot, dipped in prepared nutella sauce. So wonderful. It was late at night, but my friend and I couldn't resist a delicious dish like this. It's a little secret that they have Happy Hours with great deals. Come to try

We went to Añejo on King on a weekday evening and it was not busy. The food was amazing; Tableside Guacamole $17 is a must try! We also had the 3 Crispy Fish Tacos $17 and 3 Quesabirria $28. Both were tasty, but the quesabirria was the group favourite. The fish was a bit try, so we fixed that by dipping it into the birria sauce/consomé. The dessert Tres Leches $9 was not bad either, it was leaning more citrus. Not my favourite, but good to try.nnOur server was kind, however, we needed to flag them down for more water and napkins. It was also difficult to see with the dimmer lighting where we were sitting. We could not properly read our menus, so maybe a table lamp for corners that are darker. Overall, would go again for the food.

I had an amazing experience at Anejo.nI went with my friend for happy hours and I loved the variety of margaritas and the cinnamon powder at one of them, I really enjoyed the little show when serving the guacamole but I didn’t like how the bowl was a bit broken off but I’m sure it’s very easy to replace.nThe service was really good.nWill be coming back for sure.
