Fox on John

Group of four, stopped in for drinks and food before the Jays game tonight. Super impressed with our experience. A lot of downtown spots get really overwhelmed during happy hour, but all aspects of our visit were great!nnWe were seated outside covered from the rain. We were lucky to get one of the last tables that were covered. Also super fortunate we stopped in on a Tuesday as the daily specials were half price tequila shots and $4 tacos. Really recommend the fish tacos which were so good I had to order two more. Our waitress was very nice and very on top of things while we were there, which was especially impressive because the place was packed.nnWill definitely need to come by again!

Had such a wonderful experience at Fox on John for a weekend brunch gathering! The food and drinks were absolutely amazing — everything was delicious and beautifully done. The service was exceptional, and our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the experience.nnOne of the highlights was the in-house entertainment, which was such a lovely surprise. The magician in particular was fantastic and added such a fun and memorable touch to the atmosphere.nnA huge thank you to the team for making our gathering so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Fox on John for a great dining experience!

Fox on John is located right in the Entertainment District, close to the theaters, Rogers Centre and CN Tower, making it a perfect spot for food and drinks before or after events. The menu has a bit of everything, including brunch, shareable appetizers, pizza, pasta, and cocktails.nnWe visited here for a late night dinner and cocktails and great vibes. They offer late night dining till 2am. With last call 4am, Thursday through Saturday. They also serve brunch until 4 PM and the place gets much livelier later at night with DJs and late-night drinks.nnWe tried the new summer specials: “Ribeye appetizer”, “Shrimp appetizer”, “Chicken Alla Vodka”, and “Pan-Seared Branzino”. Everything was nicely presented and delicious.nnThe August feature cocktails, the “Strawberry Tequila Sour” and “Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri” were both refreshing and perfect for summer.nnWe finished with the “Tiramisu” and “Biscoff Cheesecake”, which were a nice sweet ending to the meal.nnThe service is friendly and fast and the lively atmosphere makes this place a fun spot to eat and have good times.

My boyfriend and I went here for brunch for my birthday. Our server Jade made it an absolutely fabulous experience. She was kind, attentive and all around fabulous. She had a super bubbly and inviting personality. We did the 65$/person all inclusive brunch and it was lovely. The food tasted great, the portions of each item on the menu were really nice. They were big enough to share a bit and try each, while also being small enough that you could order a great variety of the different options and try them all instead of being stuck with one large full dish. The food came out quickly and the bottomless mimosas being included with a bunch of juice choices was wonderful. Jade ended up bringing out a plate that said happy birthday with some cheesecake and sparklers on it. It was such a surprise and was a great end to the best brunch we’ve ever had. It was overall a wonderful experience and next time we visit Toronto we will definitely be back and requesting Jade as our server! Do yourself a favor and request her if you go for an incredible experience just like us!

Had such a great experience at Fox on John! We tried the French onion soup and spinach artichoke dip—both were absolutely yummy! We also had the fried rice and drinks, and everything was delicious. The staff was amazing, friendly, and attentive. Great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend
