The best dark roast coffee beans in Victoria. Roasted on site and always reliable. I get the beans ground there as well. Consistent grind and no risk of contamination with flavored beans I believe the shop doesn't carry flavored ones.

Excellent coffee bean selection. Grabbed some Dutch cocoa as well! Worth a trip. Great store and he’s been around a long time! Started in Vancouver and now in Victoria.

Lovely coffee. The only downsides are their hours and really poor management of communicating them. They don't update google with their times, or a website, so everything will say they're open then you get there and they're closed. A few weeks ago they had a sign up that made no sense, no answering machine, so basically we have no idea when they're open these days hahaha But it's a small "mom and pop" business and that's just how they work sometimes. Just be forewarned and don't make an out of the way trip without confirming they're there! If you catch them open, it's SO worth it. Lovely lovely beans

My go-to place for buying green beans for roasting at home. They have an excellent and wide selection of beans that are exceptionally well priced given the bean quality. The owners are always helpful and cheerful. It is a great pleasure going there to buy beans.

this is an amazing place for finely crafted dark roast coffee beans. some of the best coffee I have ever purchased. They also sell amazing local or close toohoney and want you to reuse your own honey jars.

I've tried different coffee roasters in Victoria, and while they are usually also good and great to deal with, they are on the expensive side. Yoka is the best combination of quality, customer service and price. They are awesome to deal with and will answer all your questions with care. They also offer green coffee beans which is a rare feat to find in Victoria so far. The shop is well laid out and has a grandpa and grandma feel to it indeed. I didn't try drinking the coffee on site but I'm pretty sure it will be amazing. The additional organic items they offer is also a bonus for when I'll need these.

Great coffee; some kinds I haven't seen elsewhere in Victoria e.g., Malabar Monsoon. Reasonable prices, 10 cent discount for bringing your own bag for coffee. Discount for North Park Neighbourhood Association members. Yes, still cash only.

Yoka and Tristan are two very nice, kind and helpful people – a delight to deal with. Their shop has the charm of the good old days when friendship and warmth where integral part of business. When Yoka roasts the coffee the aroma is inebriateing! Don't forget to get some chocolate when you go there.
