Visiting this board game Cafe is always a highlight of a trip to Victoria, we've been coming here for years with a "hiatus" due to a global pandemic... But in our absence the Cafe has continued to thrive and their playable game selection, after a small cover charge, is excellent mix of kids games, family games, and deeper strategy games. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy them with friends and family. They have a large selection of snacks, drinks, i e cream and sandwiches for purchase of you get hungry as well. They also have a wide selection of new games to purchase, enjoy that exchange rate if you're American. Clean and well stocked, though may be a bit noisy at peak times, highly recommend if you like boardgames.
We went to Interactivity as an alternative plan to our snow day! We enjoyed several hours of board games and some delicious london fog. They also sell games but think they can expand their available game selections a bit. Some of the cards in some of the boxes were also a bit damaged so some regular inspections would help! The lighting for one of their rooms was also a little dark and could do with some lighting up to make it a more enticing environment for people to stay and enjoy longer. The bar side of the restaurant was much better with the open windows. Overall, it was a pleasant experience but some room for improvement.
Had the most amazing experience. The customer service was really good and there were lots of game options. Loved how you could chose between board games, video games, and VR! Also the food is just amazing, it came hot and was so tasty! Cannot recommend this place enough
1st time going to a Board Game Cafe, I was a bit skeptical if it was something I would enjoy. There were 6 of us, and we had a blast! We played just some fun games; Cards Against Humanity and What the Meme. Hilarious games! Milkshakes were great, and the snacks were a good option to have on the table for the group. Thanks, definitely will be back
Simple and cool place to hang out with friends. You can choose from 100's of board games and enjoy with a cup of coffee or mug of beer Menu is small with limited dishes. They have a huge collection of board games where you can buy it!
Super fun experience if you go with the right people. We were able to test out some games before deciding to buy it. The staff and participants are friendly, the food is good, and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. Be prepared for your seat to get a bit incomfortable after a while, though.
This is a great venue for fun. There is an extremely large selections of games that can be played, but if you are not sure what to pick they have very knowledgeable staff who are able to pick games based on your group and provide easy instructions on how to play. There are two sections, one of which include a bar so that you can enjoy a wobbly pop while gaming. The food is by no means gourmet, but it is made fresh and the staff are very accommodating to customizing your order. I ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich with every type of cheese they had, which included brie. It tasted great, but could have used a little salt to bring out the flavour of the cheese. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience here and would not hesitate to return.
This place is just magic. For a small fee you can play all kinds of games from their library. They also have a great food and beverage selection. The staff really knows their stuff and are super friendly. We loved our visit!
We had lots of fun here, $24 for a family of 4 as we ended up staying almost 4 hours playing 4 different games. Stayed longer than we expected! Definitely worth your time and money! Ended up purchasing a $70 game thats cheaper and out of stock on Amazon for our trip to port renfrew.
Super knowledgeable staff who are very friendly. Would definitely recommend it as a place to hang with friends for a few hours playing games for any interests. Drinks are available with a small beer selection, food menu is pretty bare bones but there are snacks. Would go again nice space and they take care of the games, keeping them all fully laminated so they don't deteriorate and get sticky over time. Many games available to play that are out of print. It's a chance to check out some cool stuff.
