They should consider having a switchboard operator with patience and good customer service skills. I thought someone would sign up for a job to enjoy not to be rude as they are mainly the first point of contact.
I have dealt with the Winnipeg Clinic Pharmacy for years now, and they have always done an excellent job with our prescriptions. I would recommend them to anyone needing their prescriptions filled. They also deliver our prescriptions for free!!
I needed blood tests and an x-ray, so, as there is a Dynacare lab in the same building, I went here today. While waiting for my blood test, I went downstairs to get the x-ray. There was no line-up around 10:15am on a monday, which I thought at first was nice.nI needed an x-ray of the right side of my face, got set up for it and was told not to move my head, which of course I tried to do. However, maybe due to the fact I had been fasting no food or water for blood tests for over 14 hours, my head was swaying slightly against my will. The technician was annoyed from the start and became progressively more aggressively insistent that I not move my head, as if I was doing it on purpose. I was ready to leave as I did not appreciate being spoken down to in the manner she was speaking. I explained that I did not understand why my head was swaying and was not doing it on purpose. She finally gave up as she said she could not keep taking photos and the final one she took would have to do.nnI will NOT come here again if an x-ray is needed. I now understand why there was no line-up.
For context I am 32 with cataracts in both eyes. Followed up with a cataract appointment after calling my optometrist. Receptionist was rude and unwilling to help. Accused me of purposely missing an appointment i wasn’t aware of from September. I had received no notice, phone, call or any sort of confirmation. Was advised a letter was sent but I had not received such. Called in February due to multiple people saying these appoints take long to book. Asked if they were able to have me booked. Was rudely advised Dr.Gould would not be able to advise until the Tuesday following the weekend I called. Received a call on MONDAY stating they were downsizing and would no longer take me on. Felt malicious intent as if that were the case a letter should have been sent back to my optometrist after the missed appointment in September and not in February only after I had reached out.
Had an appointment with Dr. Dyck on June 2/25. He was very professional and thorough and did not rush me. I had to get a MRI appointment which everyone knows is near impossible but because he did such a great thorough job filling our the request form; I received a call the next morning and had the mri the same day. SO IMPRESSED. THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. DYCK.nnHad a follow up appointment July 10 with Dr. Dyck to get the results of my MRI. Once again, he was so kind and thorough and he explained everything to me kindly and was very patient. Thank you, Dr Dyck.
