there really are angels in the world. They work at this place. Thank you for taking care of my Pops and our family. I don't have words to say how much you made his journey so much easier on all of us.
I am so impressed with the care my sister got in her last few weeks of life. The east 3rd floor staff were very caring, kind, attentive and gentle. True Angels on earth. The facility was clean and very well equipped. The 24 hour visiting policy helped emmencly. Thank you with all of my heart
I was a admitted to the hospital on July 14. The nurses and staff on the 4th. floor were excellent. 5 stars for the physio and occupational therapists were great as well. All helped me reach my goals to get back to my life as normal as possible. I was even allowed to leave earlier than my expected release date walking out the doors on my own. The biggest draw-back was the doctor who was in charge I do not remember his name but i know he was from Croatia He decided just because i came through the doors of his hospital he ordered that my drivers license be suspended. the only time I seen him was one evening when he charged into my room, sat down for 5 minutes and then left. this was a week before I was discharged. At the family meeting a week later he told me to quit smoking and to quit drinking. he has no right to tell me what I can and can't do. Now 4 months after my release I do not work, I do not have a drivers license, I am 3 months behind in paying my utilities bills, and just sitting at home. I can not work without a license and others can not become certified equipment operators without me. I tried to explain this to the doctor but it was hard considering that he seen me only as a mouth breather. If i knew then what i know now I would have refused being admitted to the hospital. Doctors are able to recommend MPI not to suspend driving. I know of others who had strokes worst than mine and continued to drive right out of the hospital. Doctors concerned about the patients well-being and not being a dictator of the hospital. Doctors who take the time to assess each person instead of taking the easy way out and washing all with the same brush. i know and understand that nothing can or will be done against the doctor and more patients will continue to be affected
My energetic father, within days of being admitted was TIED TO A CHAIR.nHe walked in no problem walking Day One. By Day 5 he was completely out of it and tied to a chair. Management denied that they had given him sedative drugs to make him more convenient to care for, and defended their Restraint Policy. It was a Shocking & Desperately Tragic way for such a Fine Man to end his days. Glad there are great stories, and that's why we chose this facility, but our experience was horrific. I don't leave reviews, but feel it's a duty to report.
It’s really good place I can walk now even without cane or stick thanks very much
