Waited at this clinic on walk-in for ~3 hours before I was able to see a physician. The reception staff made no attempt to update me on how long it would take/apologize for the delay. Once I was finally able to see the physician, he told me he has no idea why I was having the issue and didn’t prescribe any medicine for the inflammation/pain. Despite what they say; walk-ins are NOT welcome at this clinic. I highly recommend going to another clinic if you do not have an appointment. Pharmacists at the attached pharmacy are wonderful though!
Honestly I have held off writing this review for a year now, but it’s getting ridiculous so I have to put my thoughts. Getting ahold of this clinic is a nightmare. The doctor I have is great, and that’s the only reason I’m still here. But if you want an appointment, good luck. I got a bit sassed by my doctor on my telephone visit a year back because I was getting my birth control prescriptions from a walk in doctor. Well quite frankly, how else I’m supposed to get this time-sensitive prescription I have no idea. As it is, I was attempting to make an appointment recently for a very serious mental health issue that could require medication. I have called every day, twice a day at different times. It rings for 5 minutes and then they send me to voicemail. I have left 4 voice mails now over a week, and also sent a text as they request on their hold message and have received absolutely no callback. Do I need to chase this clinic down for weeks just to book an appointment? It’s absolutely the worst service I’ve ever seen and I’m honestly appalled.
I love my doctor, she is kind, knowledgeable and sensible. However, dealing with reception is the worst. If they answer the phone, you end up feeling berated, unimportant, and treated like you’re paperwork, not a human that needs help caring for their health. When you need to give up a built health relationship to find a new doctor because the clinic is so terrible to deal with, that should say enough.
I have been coming to this clinic for approximately 2 years- I love the online booking system and if I’ve ever had to change or cancel an appointment I found their text responses to be very quick- I find the front desk staff to be very friendly and efficient- The MOA who takes my vitals and takes me to the room is always very friendly and accommodating- Dr Mowbrey is an amazing physician!! I have never waited more than 5 minutes for her in a room and she is very kind and takes whatever time is needed for my concerns, sometimes which are many- I would highly recommend this clinic as I have never experienced any of what I have just read on previous reviews
They claim to have appointment booking over text, but when you text them they only respond once. How am I supposed to make an appointment with one singular text back? I text them with my availability and I just get ignored. Also, if I cannot call due to losing my voice, this is the only way I can contact my doctor. I was told that I was booked in to refill my medication every month, ok, cool. However, I currently at my last two pills and there’s nothing I can do about it because I cannot get ahold of them. Also previously they took an entire month to give me important blood test results back, I knew that the results were out about a week after my blood test and nobody relayed the information to me until a weeks later. My doctor is fine, the reception is terrible. Extremely stressful trying to see my doctor, I will probably have to switch doctors.
I’ve had usually very poor experiences at walk in clinics. I saw Dr Ali Baker today and he was super fast, professional and kind. I saw him walk in and he called me up within a minute. Super impressive. Nice guy and clean clinic.
The only reason I still go here is because the doctor I have is amazing. Unfortunately the reception desk is a joke. It’s impossible to get a hold of them to book an appointment, and their website never works how it’s supposed to. Not to mention the front desk staff are extremely rude, constantly. I don’t think I have had one good experience with them, its actually baffling. I don’t recommend coming here at all.
If you’re looking for somewhere to get an IUD, this is a really great place. Dr. Mulberry was super understanding and made me feel comfortable. The process was quick, both for booking and when I came to the appointment. Highly recommend.
I’ve been to few other clinics but this by far is the worst one in Edmonton. The wait time is ridiculous, you wait for 2+ hours just to get to the room and then you spend another 30 mins to see the doctor who is going to visually scan you and give useless advices so as prescriptions, they don’t hear you, they just want to spend no time for their patients. I met few different doctors here for walk-ins and all of them were so unprofessional! I highly don’t recommend this place, even if it’s close by to you just find another one with better reviews, don’t waste your time.
I've always had a great experience here. I love the online booking. My doctor is fantastic and I've never had any problem with the staff. That being said, I only come once a year for a physical so your mileage may vary.
