I am extremely happy with the care that Dr. Berry provides for my child. He also has treated children that I am responsible for who have serious health conditions. With my child, with the naked eye was concerned about iron levels which was later confirmed by a blood test. Iron levels have significant impact on brain development and I am happy it was caught early. Dr. Berry seems like he takes the health of his patients very seriously and has always been pleasant, not chatty or bubbly. I care about my child's health and survival first and foremost. I feel like my baby is safe and receiving the best care by Dr. Berry.
I gave birth to my daughterfirst child on September 1st in Grey Nuns Hospital. They assigned Dr. Berry as Rehmat’s paediatric. On September 2nd, the doctor checked my baby girl for the first time and booked 2 weeks appointment for today. I reached there with my baby. Whole staff was so co-operative and congratulated me. They show us the room, weighed my baby, hold her very carefully. As a new mom, I had a lot of questions in my mind, when Dr. Berry entered the room to check my baby, I asked all the questions. He listened very carefully and patiently answered every question. Checked my baby and assured me that she is doing well. So I can say my first born is in safe hands.
Both my kids have been in Doctor Berry's care since they were born, he is a very knowledgeable doctor, and has never been wrong with his diagnose and does not delays with testing if there really is a concern.
Dr Berry was assigned to me at the Grey Nuns hospital after I had my first son. After seeing Dr Berry for my sons 2 week check up I was in shock with how he treated us as new patients and with my new little baby. Not only was he rude but he rushed through the appointment with one hand on the door. I had to go back in a few weeks later when my son was sick, giving him a second chance he was still the same way. He actually rolled his eyes at me when I asked some “ new mom questions” about my sick baby. This time my mom was with me to the see the embarrassment of this Doctor and how truly unprofessional he was. I never felt like he was gentle with my son, or cared at all. In fact he made it very clear with his awful body language, rude comments and eye rolls he rather be anywhere else then with me and my baby. I can’t believe he is a Pediatrician. I couldn’t wait to get out and never see him again.
Dr. Berry has been my son's pediatrician for 3 years since he was born He's not much for chit-chat, but the care he gives and the knowledge he has is fantastic. Never have to wait long to see him, even though he is clearly very busy. Everyone in the office is friendly and accommodating.
It's crazy to see all these reviews about not being talkative. I like that he's straight to the point. This is what's going on...boom. Never has he or his staff been rude to my son or I. I feel people are going in there a little more emotional than usual I get it, it's your childand this might also play a bit of a role in these situations. He's extremely knowledgeable as well as his staff. Could you imagine having to deal with new moms hormones all over the place 24/7? I didn't even want to deal with ME at that point hahaha just saying.
Went with my daughter, grandson and new grandson for his 2week checkup. He had had a circumcision by another well-rated doctor 2 hours earlier easy, well instructed and calm procedure. Dr. Barry was to weigh, measure and check his general health but when he found out that the circumcision was done elsewhere, he was rude, invasive and went completely against the instructions from the first doctor - pulling off gauze and pulling back skin that was cut only 2 hours earlier... while telling my daughter to not ‘whimp out’ while giving instructions about potentially having to pay a second time for the procedure if she didn’t follow his instructions. This caused a screaming baby and a distraught mother! He was not his patient for that process and he turned a slightly stressful experience into traumatic. We were all in the room - it was a shock to see a paediatrician with so little professional care for the parent - as well as a child. Not impressed at all!
Always on time, can fit in urgent visits on very short notice, and very kind to my daughter. A bit stand-ofish at first and not one for chit-chat, but how he treats my child is really my only priority.
Stellar medical advice when we asked about our baby waking up sweaty very often "maybe you need a thermostat to know the temperature in your place" said Dr Berry..........
When we call with the baby health issues, we get appointments right away...Dr Berry is good as always..
