Dr Bochinski is truly amazing in every aspect. From the time you meet him in the office to discuss issues and options to the personal phone call after you have surgery. He always has time for questions and gives thorough and honest answers. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a Podiatrist who knows and understands the discomfort feet issues can cause. So glad I was referred to him for care.
Initially, Dr. Bochinski came across as quiet and maybe a little aloof? But I asked lots of questions and he was patient and thorough in his answers. He was honest about recovery I might have hoped he would sugar coat it a little at the time, but in the long run, his honesty helped me in my rehabilitation. His examinations of my foot were always gentle and careful. I recommend him highly to anyone who is considering foot surgery. The front desk staff are busy, but always polite and they have an occasional friendly word to offer.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Bochinski . What an amazing guy. I had the pleasure of being referred to him by my family doctor and after a very thorough and informative session with him regarding what would be the best operative option to repair my foot I agreed and had my foot surgery today. Dr. Bochinski has a wonderful bedside manner and is willing to take the time with you and discuss any questions, concerns or uncertainties that you might have. I was pleasantly surprised this evening to receive a telephone call from Dr. Bochinski calling to inquire if I was doing okay and that if I had any concerns or experienced any ill effects from the surgery that i could contact him at any time. This is an amazing Doctor who I would proudly and definitely recommend to friends and family if they required a Podiatrist. Dr. Bochinski you rate TOP NOTCH in my books. Thank you
I went to see Dr Bochinski today to have my toe analyzed. He is a very professional nice Doctor. His staff were great too. Now that I have seen Dr Bochinski and should I require to see him again I can make an appointment without another Drs referral. Bonus!! Much thanks to all. JANET. BAKER.
I had surgery Lapidus Feb 01/17 in Wainwright. At 1 week I had the dressing changed, I observed how meticulous Dr Bochinski was when examining and bandaging my foot. That is the kind of surgeon I want to perform Lapidus on my other foot. At 5 weeks the X-ray technician in the north end asked me who my surgeon was, upon my reply she said she had heard good things about Dr Bochinski, which I forgot to tell him. I have given Dr Bochinski's name to so many people. I had one complaint regarding the instructions which I brought to his attention. He didn't brush it off, he was very concerned. Thank you for my beautiful foot.
I have experienced only positive experiences seeing Dr Bochinski. Despite being very busy, he is very thorough and empathetic. Note: A GP referral is required to see him. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Bochinski to anyone with foot problems!
I had bunion surgery on my left foot a year and a half ago and would never recommend anyone else to do it after my experience. Getting in to see him took over 2 years and the wait time for surgery was almost another 2 years. I thought it would be worth the wait. I was mistaken. I now have even more pain than before and a horrific scar to go along with it. It got infected after the surgery but he told me it was fine. It was so swollen that my foot turned blue, but he still insisted it was fine. It ended up with a serious infection that I had to see someone else for because he didn’t want to do anything for me. I injured it when I fell on my crutches but he again insisted it was fine. Overall, the bunion is gone but the problem I went to him for never got fixed. My big toe still overlaps my second toe, only now it’s much shorter because he took so much bone out. This affects the way I walk now because I can’t put pressure on my big toe anymore or maintain proper balance. I am constantly tripping over my own toes now because my other toes are so much longer. The pain is now much worse and I have no way to fix it because he says my foot is “perfect “ now, even though it looks terrible too.
My experience with Dr. Richard Bochinski was horrific. I had bunion surgery 2 years ago on my left foot. Some thing went terribly wrong in the surgery. Today, after two years of follow up appointments, medication and physiotherapy. He advises that there is no problem. The surgery was a success. For the last 2 years now, there is not a comfortably way to position my foot, as it pulls and swells the surgery area. The fact that daily swelling and discolouration, the fact that I cant wear shoes or participate in physical activity's is of no concern and can not be fixed as it is not a problem. This man is an extremely pompous arrogant man. He is now suggesting a pain specialist to deal with problem. Do your self a favour, go else where.
Just got a referral to see Dr Bochinski. I am/was looking forward to seeing him. I called his office to book an appointment and was treated incredibly unprofessionally by a receptionist name of Sheryl. I was told matter of fact that they book the appointments after they get the referral from the doctors office. I was given exactly opposite information from my doctors office. She went on to tell me that she could no nothing for me until they get the doctors referral and besides they are booking into May. I told her that I can barely walk and need to get in ASAP at which point she changed her tune a bit and said that once they get the referral they can then prioritize. I get there is a process but this lady almost swayed me to go to another service provider with her rude and uncaring attitude. I hope the Doctor lives up to his reputation.
I don't feel that he took his time and figured out the actual problem that I'm having. He said I was pretty much S.O.L. I will definitly being seeing someone else.
