This is a relatively small location however the products are neatly organized with great decor. Despite Whole Foods are known for higher price it does offer a different more classy feeling when shopping there. This location has a lot of wall paintings and decoration to create an energetic and lively environment. The products when on sale are good deal purchases!
OMG.......what a find......Located just around the corner from our Airbnb, was this store one of two produce stores that were life savers due to the expensiveness of eating out in Vancouver, we absolutely loved the prepared foods, excellent value and so flavoursome, we were spoilt for choice.nDefinitely the place to visit when on a strict budget.
Most people go to WholeFoods for groceries.nI go for dessert after dinner nnIt might sounds unusual I know but hear me out. Generally after eating out with friends, we often skip the dessert menu at the restaurant and head straight to whole food instead.nIt’s become a little ritual we do…nnWhen you think about it, there’s no service table and per se no tipping. That may not seem like a big deal, but in a city where eating out adds up fast, it’s the detail that makes the difference.nnSpeaking about dessert, the options are genuinely impressive. As someone who works in pastry, I’m not amazed over that easily but Whole foods consistently delivers. From their cheesecakes, cookies or their tiramisu they’re always fulfilling their function… generosity, sweet, sugar rush… And that makes me the happiest man.nnThough, obviously I don’t expecting fancy space and table but for what it is, a relax, tasty no pressure dessert stop between friends, it’s just kinda perfect.nnSo to finish, don’t forget that they close at 9” and I’m grateful to have them on west 4th avenue, in our beautiful neighbourhood that is Kitsilano.
This is a smaller Whole Foods Market located in Kitsilano. Although it’s small, it’s very much packed with a variety of products including a hot food station, a bakery, deli, nature products, and the usual grocery store sections. There are both self check out and regular check out stations. Lots to see within the store.
I went in to check it out and saw that they do have really good produce and products. I also liked their selection on hot food.nnLots of local and organic options. I thought it would be expensive but they do have plenty of deals.
