Stong's Market

I decided to stop here to grab something to eat quick before going to a show nearby. I pretty much made a beeline for the deli and didn't get a great look at most of the store, but I was pretty impressed with the deli offerings. The one complaint was that they were no longer cooking whole pizzas at 6 pm, which seems like prime time to order a pizza, but they did still have some hot slices which honestly looked pretty good. I ended up getting some deli sides Moroccan chickpea salad and pasta salad and a dessert cherry trifle. I was happy with all of the food. Sometimes store-bought pasta salads are too mayo-heavy and oily, but these were not. The cherry trifle was also pretty good and not overly sweet. My favourite thing about the store was the service. Everyone, from the deli and bakery staff to the cashier, was genuinely friendly.

I was helped by a young man named Jasper. I noticed that after he handled raw meat packeges, he would sanitize his hands and clean the belt right away. It is little things like this makes shoppers to have the peace of mind knowing that food safety protocol is in placed. Well done training your staffs!

Got this bread in my TGTG yesterday. The bag became available yesterday too… It’s supposed to be good but it’s all mouldy. : I can’t believe this is what I’m paying for… it’s such a health risk

Stongs market has become one of my favorite local grocery stores. Fresh produce, amazing deli, floral stems have beautiful gift ideas and gorgeous arrangements daily. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Definitely recommend!

Many different local goods and i tried the supprise bag of too good to go, its great value and delicious,and the staffs is friendy :
