Nice quiet campground. You are the perfect distance away from the ocean to where the waves make a faint noise in the distance.

A charming, not overly spiffy campground, with nice water views from some of the campsites. Nice hiking trail loop. Close to main road, so some noise from that. County website says it will be closed due to bridge repairs until end of spring 2018.

Unfortunately, for reasons unknown to me, the campground is no longer open. It was in February. Then in April , i came back to the park and noticed everything was blocked off. The park host is gone and it's getting pretty over grown. I sure would like to know what happened. My grandparents had a house just past mile post 8, so for my whole 38 years of existence, that camp ground has been open.

Windy , but if you find the right spot it's heaven. Such a great place for bird watching and seashell collection or clam digging.

A hidden gem along the coast. Beautiful campground. Friendly host. No specific hike and bike sites but you get any site for $8.75/person instead of $22/site.
