Great location!!! The costs are excessive but it's a really nice, clean campground. 40/ night for regular campsite, plus $10/night any vehicles over one. You have to bring your own firewood or buy theirs for $6.50 per tiny bundle. State camp hosts act like cops and go they inspect the place every hour. Driving slowly and watching everything and pointing out any rules being broken. There are no shenanigans allowed here but it's very very nice and well kept. We had a great time even though it was expensive for camping.

Busy campground with some campers up and making noise until around 2AM. Otherwise, nice place to stay. Bathroom facilities are very basic, but the beach is close and there are many nice hikes to do throughout the park. We will stay here again!

Great camp sites. Dog friendly. Kid friendly as well if you have them. Great camp hosts. We stayed in site 179. It was only about a half a mile walk to the beach.

We went to the Cape Disappointment State Park and visited the lighthouse and the interpretive center, so this review encompasses those two parts. The trail to the lighthouse, though a touch muddy owing to the recent rain, was a very well cut and enjoyable trail. I'd consider it in the easy to moderate difficulty range, not a particularly challenging trail but enough incline and roughness to warrant some decent footwear and basic caution. The view from the lighthouse is stunning. We took the trail from the lighthouse to the interpretive center on a whim and it turned out to be a great decision. The story of Lewis and Clark was told with incredible skill. There is a wonderful balance of paintings, quotes, narratives, artifacts, and hands on activities to keep visitors engaged. We ended up spending nearly an hour in the center and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend visiting both!

What an amazing place! Wish we could have stayed for a week. 1st night in a yurt was really nice. 2nd night tent camping not so great. The park is a gem though.
