Can't go wrong for $30! Hot showers, flush toilets, free fire wood, electrical hookups, and beautiful mountain views, it's surprising more people don't stay here in the winter!

A nice campground with reasonably well separated sites. Close to town and with cell reception. Prices continue to go up, but what else is new. Beautiful scenery and not too busy in the winter.

Great campground. I will always get a site closer to the river. Kids have more fun throwing rocks in the river than the playground in the Whistler's campground (which is really good too). I assume you can hear the highway at sites closer to the highway. Fall and spring camping is very quiet and peaceful at Wapiti.

Very nice campsite with good amenities but your experience will vary with your location. Some sites are a bit nearer to the highway and others are very close to the Athabasca river affording stunning views of blue water. Similarly some campsites feel more secluded than others but generally all were nice. This summer was a fire ban so check your gear ensuring you have propane or butane stoves for cooking. Quite shaded and at times windy. Highly recommended.

Really nice, quiet campground set out in the forest. Within easy reach of jasper and right by the athabasca River. Most pitches have no hook up or water and there are very few showers on site. Those that are there are near reception so they are a good distance from many of the pitches. We had an RV so were self contained though. The toilet blocks are more numerous and are clean and modern. Fire pits are on each pitch and if you purchase the 8 dollar licence you get unlimited fire wood. The site was clean and very peaceful. There is usually a queue of RVs at the dump station and water supply each morning but we never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Great location in a beautiful part of Canada.
