Jasper town has been gradually recovering after the wildfire, and it was encouraging to see the community coming back to life. Compared with Banff, Jasper feels much quieter and less crowded, offering a more relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The town’s services, restaurants, and local businesses are all well prepared and welcoming, making the visit very comfortable and enjoyable. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and nature, Jasper has a unique charm that feels more authentic and laid-back. I would definitely come back again in the future to explore more of this beautiful area.
Those guys at the desk full of life wonderful and the park is always beautiful saw a bear on the way up it was so cool!nnUnfortunately random people kept cashing the bear and doing things that could injure other people and themselvesnn Remember to LEAVE THE WILD LIFE ALONE
A beautiful lodge building with a cute gift shop and very helpful guides, providing information on the national park and all the best activites and hikes. The perfect place to start your Jasper adventure.
They sort of visitor centre and gift shop. Very busy when we are out there for Canada Day.
The Jasper Information Centre is an absolute treasure and the perfect starting point for any adventure in Jasper National Park. Housed in a beautifully preserved heritage building right in the heart of town, the centre offers not only practical information but a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel connected to the spirit of the Rockies.nnThe staff here are phenomenal—knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about the area. Whether you’re planning a multi-day hike, looking for hidden gem viewpoints, or just trying to figure out where to spot wildlife, they go above and beyond to help you tailor your visit. Their insider tips made our trip unforgettable.nnBeyond the helpful advice, the building itself is worth a visit. The rustic stone-and-log architecture is iconic, and there's a real sense of history in its walls. There are informative displays about the park’s geology, wildlife, and history, which make it a great little stop even on a rainy day.nnWe left with detailed maps, new hiking ideas, and a deeper appreciation for Jasper. This place sets the tone for everything that makes the park so special—nature, heritage, and warm Canadian hospitality.nnDon’t miss it—your Jasper experience will be so much better if you start here.
