We didn't camp there but we stopped for a short afternoon break to use day use area. The lake is calm and beautiful. People was swimming there. A potable water reservoir was available and potholes toilets and a few picnic tables. Parking place is not big.
This is a campground where you are surrounded by nature. It has fresh water, clean dining shelters, clean dry toilets and wood for the fire pits. Campsites 1-20 are very private and 30-34 have a lake view. As it was our first time at self checkin camping ground, park Canada staff helped us out with filling in the forms. Was only 26 CAD for one night.
A great campground on the Icefields Parkway that is self-register only and you can pay via cash or writing down your credit card info. Very clean outhouses with hand sanitizer in each outhouse. No running water but a large tank of potable water that you can refill your own container from. Beautiful views of the lake that is warm enough to swim in, SUP, or boat in. Lots of small fish near the shallows and presumably bigger fish in the middle of the lake. Camp sites are tidy and basic: fire pit, stump to chop wood on, picnic table. There's two cook shelters on the premise if the weather is poor and one large wood pile beside the registration kiosk. Bear locker by the wood pile for food storage if you need it. No cell service out here so you can really get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Best campsite we had in a long time! The free, already chopped wood was a really great surprise. Total privacy where we stayed. If you plan on paying cash, bring some change as the total is not round. But they do offer the opportunity to leave you credit card number if you have just $20 ;
Really nice site right next to a lovely lake. Very picturesque. Toilets and drinking water available also wood for fire pit/bbq. Self registration & payment. Like all of the National Park sites there are a lot of individual plots to park.
Beautiful camp ground no electricity pit toilets not suitable for large vehicles good for tent camping $16 per night not including a $11 fire permit
What a wonderful campground! Despite there's no water toilet or showers, we really enjoyed our two night stay around here. It's so natural and it's an ideal place to explore all the sights along Icefields Pkwy.
Cute campground. It's first come first serve so you have to get there early.
Beautiful quite place to have you RV parked there a d enjoy the view. Got some clean water tank on the side and some wood and fire in the shed next to it.
It is a beautiful Campground which is a little bit far from Jasper Town. You can't pre-book the site since it is on first come basis. It has a beautiful lake in Campground where you can go swimming, kayaking or paddle boat.
