I had forgot to ring an item through, so the lady who was it the front entrance Pharmacy.. Name is Tina rang me through at the self check after I asked if I could go around. What a great experience. I'd highly recommend going to this location. We need more people like this lady. If we had more people, the world would be a much better place. Thank you, Tina. You made my and my nans day.
Don't normally use this location...But went there for the first time and wasn't familiar with the layout.....a gentleman who worked in the meat department went above and beyond any of the other employees..I believe his name was Clayton.....phenomenal service hope this guy gets a promotion...very professional and helpful..even tried to hire then guy myself for my own business and be politely declined because he loved his employer.
Went to get oil filter. Gave info young guy working there couldn't help. At least if you go to the Sackville store they are trained In all departments to help or find someone who can. Only location worst than here is Cole Harbour. Staff don't tryst other staff to ring in purchases and taller older lady races at you to see receipt as your going to the door.
Employees here may accuse you of fraud for returning an item, even if the box has never been opened and you have the receipt… they’ve done this to two different people on two separate occasions recently. Something tells me they are trying to get out of doing returns this holiday season lol My mother in-law went to this Walmart to purchase a Nintendo Switch for her son for Xmas. After buying it and taking it home she learned that she could get one cheaper elsewhere no judgement, most of us are trying to save a couple bucks this year. She took the Nintendo switch back to Walmart and asked for a return. The box was never opened and she had the receipt but was accused of replacing the Nintendo switch with a fake one because there was no serial number on the box. That’s the way she bought it. She told them exactly what time she’d been in there to purchase the item and described the person who sold it to her and suggested they watch the cameras to see that she had indeed made the purchase again, the box was unopened, so a quick look at the cameras would prove she bought the item here if the receipt wasn’t enough proof. They refused and accused her of fraudulent activity. It was also brought to my attention that a few days prior, someone known to us had also been accused of the same thing, except with a different item. Apparently he also put a fake item back in the box. I think an employee there must be a little bit out to lunch. So anyway, I know a lot of people will be returning items over the holiday season so just be careful and be mindful because this employee and the manager may randomly accuse you of fraud, even when you have plenty of proof that shows otherwise.
I was having trouble finding some perogies. I found a nice man who pointed me in the right direction. Then told me about a wonderful pairing of steaks and perogies. Clayton I think. He’s a smart man.
Bumped into a guy named Clayton while trying to navigate through the store. Very nice guy. Great staff was helpful
I came in hunting for a patio chair to match one I already had, I'd been checking every Walmart in Halifax. After scouring the shelves, I went to customer service and was helped by the nicest Assistant Manager Greg. He helped me find the very last one chair I was looking for hidden away and assisted me throughout the whole process. Yes, it's a Walmart, so I didn't really have any expectation, but the staff were so friendly and I had a surprisingly positive experience so had to share!
Quite big Walmart with huge collection of household and electronic items. Also there is a McDonald's and a saloon in it. Parking is also pretty big and spacious.
The store was looking a little ravaged this morning, but it's back to school week so my expectations are low. There was a floor walker security person that was so obvious it was ridiculous. If your goal is to deter, okie doke, if the goal is to catch shoplifters... good luck! Parking: Spots can be tight. I park my truck at the end of the lot. There is an area for trailers and RV's at the far end of the lot, overlooking Home Depot.
No carts, no help, and ignoring behaviour. After waiting 10-15 minutes and saying I'm waiting for a cart, only two carts came in, the cart lady ignored me despite being there first, and handed carts out to others and didnt acknowledge me. I left soon after because I clearly wasn't wanted to shop there.
