Walk-In Clinic at Walmart Brampton West by Jack Nathan Health

One star too many! Go there if you want to get sicker. This clinic has a nice and clean appearance and good doctors but the staff are extremely rude, lack bedside manners and even worse, lack basic hygienic mandatory health practices. I took my daughter there and the nurse with big long nails not only didn’t bother wearing gloves, she didn’t even wash her hands!!! You don’t see nurses in hospitals with long nails. How can you allow your nurses to have long nails, not wear gloves and not wash their hands when giving vaccinations????!!!! The nurses act like bullies so no one can ask them to wash their hands or put on gloves. They should be shut down for the dangerous ways that they are operating and contributing to the spread of diseases.

Having had great walk in experiences with Dr Khan, I decided to make her my family doctor 2/3 yrs ago. I haven't required medical attention for the last two years, and now when I do after being in an accident, I booked an appointment. I then received a call today -hours after me confirming my appointment for tomorrow and having my insurance company reach out to the clinic- that they have to cancel my appointment with Dr Khan since I am no longer under her care. Apparently I have been too healthy, not requiring medical care so she has dropped me as a patient. How was I going to find out that Ino longer had a family doctor if this hadn't happened?! They are telling me that I need to have a new meet and greet, then book a separate appointment to have all the appropriate assessments done. Not impressed.

Not sure how you can diagnose someone when you use the stethoscope over a thick sweater. I don't feel confident about the diagnosis and most likely will look for a new clinic

The staff is friendly here, however my experience was not that great. This clinic has the "1 issue per visit" rule, which I understand as clinics get very busy however I think there should be some exceptions to the rule. The last time I went in I got my TB test (which i paid for) and had to come in once more to have the doctor examine the TB test (which is also paid for). This required the Dr. to simply look at my arm. The whole process took less than 30 seconds. I had another issue that I wanted to bring up regarding my hormones but I was sent home and told the Dr. could only see me for one reason. This to me is ridiculous considering I paid for BOTH visits, it wasn't OHIP covered, and even though checking my TB test took less than a minute, I was not able to discuss the more serious problem at hand. I will most likely not come back.

I'm giving 3 stars based on the simple fact of friendliness from the people who work there. I went here as a fast fix to a chest infection that I had been battling for a week but was improperly diagnosed and not treated properly. I went to my family doctor the very next day and was told I had a chest infection (Like I thought) and needed to be on antibiotics. Not sure I would come back here after this experience.
